I booked my flu vaccine along with several others for this morning. I arrive about 10 minutes in advance, and nobody else was there but they told me that it would be at least 15 minutes late. When I returned, there were three people in the department, all chatting and laughing, and ignoring me for over 10 minutes. The area did not look very clean so I canceled and I will never return there again.

Great folks, always nice and ready to help. Fast and willing to go out of their way to help you get your prescription filled. I have been going here for over 4 years and have always had a good experience!

Spent 10 minutes in line watching cashier chatting up customers stopping between swipes of items with zero consideration of the other customers standing waiting for their turn. I finally got to the cashier and realized that I picked up the wrong item asked if I could just check out and leave them and he said you want me to put them back? Can't you put them back. I just wanted to check out and not have to wait in line after returning the items. I woul have been happy to return them to their place in the store after checking out but after his really rude and uncall;ed for attitude I told him he could put EVERYTHING back...yes my entire order along with the wrong items I picked up. Everyone makes mistakes I admitted mione but tha ttitude was uncalled for especially from a "Courtesy Clerk".

They have a burrito truck, I think there was someone selling crystals, huge hippy bus and band playing, and there was this guy hoola hooping, and children dancing, and everyone was happy.I wish that I could live here.

I live in the Bay Area and I received a phone call late one night from Gurneville CA from my oldest brother , Dave. He’s a contracted and lost his ride outta town when he found himself in the middle of the storm with all his tools and belongings.I’d like to thank Safeway of Gurneville for allowing my brother to take shelter in an abandoned Volvo that was just sitting g in the parking lot. They could have called the police but had special empathy for him. My sister has been employed by Safeway for over 20 years and now Safeway goes above and beyond customer service to provide a safe place for truly one of its valued customers as my family has been many, many years since quite young. Safeway was and is our “ go-to” store . This incident only confirms they are the best people working fir them.

I can't for the life of me see why this Safeway is rated so low! This is a good Safeway in a area that helps many people. Well stocked, decent service...hummmm I love this Safeway and very grateful that is located in an area that is helpful for the local neighbors and the numerous travelers that stop in for the different local events. On this trip we had a 1 on 1 experience with the bakery department. Grateful for the extra and above service and the well stocked, regularly clean store.

Not sure why this Safeway only has two stars as far as mainstream grocery stores go this is definitely a 5 star situation. First of all it's hella clean and organized. They some local stuff and more organic stuff than I've seen in any other Safeway. Workers are hella courteous and helpful. They even accommodate our bougie (tho legit!) request for have an alternative to plastic bags. So go head Guerneville Safeway get yours!

The Guerneville Safeway is a scary proposition during "normal" times. With Covid 19 it is a complete disaster. Barely taking measures to ensure customer safety. And the customers them selves seem utterly clueless, not bothering to follow isle flow charts, crowding in lines, masks hanging lose instead of covering their faces. I will travel the extra miles to the Safeway on West College ave., they are on it with safety measures and the customers seem happy to comply. I love West County but dang people, wake up!!!

I do recommend Safeway but I have an issue. Today Tues 3/31/20 I @ 6am I went to the Guerneville store excepting to have Seniors only shopping for 1 hour. It was far from the case 50% of the shoppers were under 40. That may not sound like a big deal but as a senior we are isolating ourselves from younger populations because we are more at risk. Safeway advertises those hour please enforce them for the well-being of the Senior population.

First off this is not going to be your average Safeway. It's in west county and serves a large community that prefers things a certain way. A lot more things good for you than most Safeway's and a wine selection that will please a lot of snobs. People in gville can be and usually are the type of people who dance to the beat of a different drum. From poor old river folk to winery owners. They have only local employees who are really wonderful people of you take the time to get to know them. You will never not have a smile given you in return for yours. They have to deal with it all from dirty homeless adults to people who don't see them as humans because they work at a grocery store yet they still come in to work daily to provide a totally necessary service to the community at a usually lower wage. During this covid19 crisis they not only are working extra hard in a scary environment but they are doing their best to keep people from hoarding or being without essentials. I have to admit I would have quit if they required me to work during this time of quarantine. My ego can accept that those brace Safeway staff are better people than I am.

Just got out of the Safeway in ukiah and I am not happy with my experience.... not only was the lady in front of me upset with her order as well, my husband and I had to ask them not to use moldy food in our sandwiches it shouldn't have even been there to begin with. On top of the moldy food there was flys all over the food and vegetables. Just gross I am not happy.
