A terrific diversion and place to shop for that St. Generic's Day gift before the seasonal crush. This cooperative of about eleven local artists is airy, well lit and a happy place in which to enjoy a variety of expression by extremely talented people who are, for the most part, members of the Newly Emerging Lower River Left Bank Art Community. Paintings, sculptures, photos, things to hang on your body and much of it has been inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of the turf where these artists live. The first Friday of every month Guerneville's gallery people open their doors, lay out a few munchies, a cup of something red and shmooze with visitors, townies and members of this intertwining network of people who share goals, points of view and the latest dirt on a couple of their mutual acquaintances. Well-behaved pooches are welcome and you might come upon a few surprises.I love this place and the people who brighten it and make visiting it a special experience.

I am happy to say the swastikas were taken down. It is good that they realized how offensive this was and took them down. I honestly wish they had the foresight to not put them up in the first place but at least they corrected it.

Love this place!!!! Local gallery that uses only local artists!! A must visit when in the area.

My all time favorite art gallery in Sonoma county. It is a collective of 11 local artists. Each artist is unique and I like the art immensely!!! It is a gem of the community! I purchase all my gifts there for the holidays and special occasions! I like to go for the first Friday art walk. They always provide a lively atmosphere! Plus wine and food! The gallery is very clean and spacious! Each artist is friendly and helpful! They provide an assortment of great gifts and cards! I am a huge fan!!!!!!

Fantastic Guerneville Art Gallery! They sell paintings by local artists and photos by JackiGail and George Zastrow. Also lots of jewelry and gift type items. Loved it!

First Friday Art Walk was my third visit in 5 years to this engaging gallery. I started with "gateway art" - greeting cards with my favorite paintings and photographs depicting this gorgeous part of the state. I have since moved on to prints and an original! Got to chat with four of the artists during Art Walk. Delightful people and their art walk appetizers were amazing!

The Russian River Art Gallery in downtown Guerneville features photographers, painters and other artists who live in the Russian River area. The compact, well-laid out space had a nice array of local art when I visited -- worth a stop when you visit.
