A well-taken-care-of retreat in Armstrong Redwoods with Autocamp‘s well designed Airstream (healing) circle. Lovingly, in flow.On a land revived & protected by a family of heart for 150 years, thriving a modern design firm who’s so smart, humble and humane - respects nature as much as treasures the human connection within it.It’s a living memory and inspiring story - that sparks the question: how might we build equity and wealth beyond generations, so abundant that we are no longer trapped in the illusion of separation? In which the truth is finally unveiled: every tree is our tree, every being is connected, and a dollar to give is 10X received, in energy.En route building heaven on earth, with love.Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My niece had her wedding here and even though it rained, it was a beautiful experience. The environment is so cozy and quiet with the Redwood Grove and fire pits. It's also close to a national park where you can go and see the redwood trees and also close to the ocean and multiple beaches to experience.Nearby activities: Armstrong State Park

Service was very nice but they didn't tell us we couldn't burn wood until after we went to the store and bought wood ?♀️We had to buy their little baby sized bags of Good Wood...9$ each. We were there for 2 nights and had to buy at least 9 bags.

The site is picturesque and pristine. The location is great. The washrooms were kept very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Our only gripe is that this kind of glamping site isn't really children appropriate. It's a small site and not really a place to bring noisy or adventurous kids. Take them proper camping to a place with space where they can run wild instead. Otherwise fabulous stay! Thanks to Jill specifically, she's a star!

Booked the accommodation but didn’t stay after checked in.Passing through the Golden Gate Bridge from the south going to the north in order to get to the Russian River. The route that was taken was a bit off the path which it wouldn’t be advisable to drive after sun down. But the drive was super unforgettable awesome even with a rental on a KIA sedan. Up and down like driving through the curvy Big Sur single two-way lanes. Would go to the area again with no double about it. Plenty of camping area around the lodging destination. The place wasn’t as picturesque as what people mentioned. But it is totally subjective. I thought the place was small. Way smaller than most villa hotel in Southeast Asia. So it was really small. There are many products for sale filled the check-in desk. Flasks, T-shirts, books I guess. Looks like a store to me.Overlook the bbq/fire pit area right at the middle of the campsite, seeing through the doorway from the checkin area. It’s not big. Like lawn size, imo. The immediate area surrounding the pit are all the tents and airstreams. Might be about three to four feet next to each other. I’m not sure. It was really near to each other. A card was given for a security code. I asked if it’s for the tent. The nice checkin lady replied that the tent is just a tent. No code needed. She told me that she will be getting a push wagon to help bringing the bags to the tent. The luggage situation was a pickle to wheel from the gravel car lot to the tent. Couldn’t imagine how that could be done. I thought it would be nice to have a better pathed lot and pathway. It was a little overwhelming (hassle wise). Before getting the stuff from the car, went to the tent and checked it out—opened the tent curtain, a bed, a stand, and I don’t see any other amenities for welcoming the stay.It looks like a quarantine camp. Imo. Was looking for more of the secluded experience. Seems like the one in SF looks bigger (maybe because there is a modern cabin option) but this was the first experience… it was just so small.People are nice there in the surrounding area. It’s beautiful. No idea about cooking or restroom situation. Wasn’t being inform or a tour for that matter. No idea about what’s available for the surrounding area. Nor what’s inside of the camp site. Wasn’t being informed.Seems like the medium size tent was all it is for the lodging. Drove off from the lot and a little worried about gravel tire puncturing situation but it’s all good.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Generally, I’m not a person who writes online reviews but what has happened to my husband and I is so appalling that I feel it’s important for those out there looking for a place to stay around the redwoods. In early March 2023, my husband and I booked four nights for September 4 through 7 at the auto camp in Russian River Valley. Last Saturday we received an email in the morning welcoming us and letting us know what to expect when we arrive next week. A couple of hours later we received another email telling us that “due to a computer glitch”, our reservation had been double booked and therefore they canceled it. They continued on to state that they reserve the right to cancel reservations for any reason . There was no apology. This evening I called and spoke to a manager there. I wanted to know how we were allowed to book in the first place, if someone already had a reservation and if someone booked after us, why they weren’t the ones who are canceled. It was explained to me that a large group had booked, and their dates overlapped with our dates, and so therefore ours was canceled.Just as a sidenote, this is the second time they have canceled our reservation at the last minute. The previous time was six years ago, and it was the night before our arrival. We had already flown from the Midwest to San Francisco.Needless to say, we will not be trying a third time, and I would warn anyone out there to think twice before you book with this company

I stayed friday-monday in a tent w/ my partner and small quiet dog, it was a great experience!-Shared Bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked,- tents were very clan and have electric warming beds-The camp store has lots of snack options and bathroom items if you forgot something at home-The staff was amazing!the tents are def sorta close together and you can hear peoples convos BUT it didn't bother us at all [they also provided ear plugs] Only mentioning this because if you want more privacy/more of a romantic getaway, an airstream is probably better!

My young son and I spent one day/night at Auto Camp and absolutely loved it. We had planned to venture out and see more of the surrounding area, but Auto Camp was so cool and fun that we ended up staying at camp the entire day.First the airstreams are very cool. Modern and clean and they have every amenity - even pens, scissors and a bottle opener. And the shower/bathroom is surprisingly spacious. The decor throughout is tastefully done. While the campsites are close together each has a secluded feel because of the landscaping. It really feels like you're alone in the woods. The communal amenities are nice as well. There is a large fire pit that provides a nice ambiance and a large grass field where my son and I tossed a football. There is also a playground for younger kids. It's nice to walk around the path that circles the camp. It's short but they have these stunning green leafed trees that appear to glow in the sunlight. Oh and they also have bikes you can take on a first come, first served basis. We rode them into town to grab some food for dinner to cook on our grill - every airstream or luxury tent gets a fire ring with cooking grate.Lastly the staff is super friendly and kind and the store is small but seems to have everything you need.If you like rugged tent camping in the outdoors go do that, but if you want a little bit of glamping then Auto Camp is well worth a look.

You need to experience this. I can't explain how incredible this is without you being there. The staff was something you would expect to find at a 5 star resort, the ammenities were amazing, and the most amazing part you're in nature with huge Redwood trees surrounding you, and the beautiful Russian River to take a polar dip in. I would not think twice about booking a reservation just do it! I promise you that it will not dissapoint. Thank you AutoCamp for the memories.

Having recently stayed at an autocamp nestled in the heart of Russian River, California, I'm beyond excited to share my incredible experience. As someone who loves the great outdoors but also values comfort, this hidden gem exceeded all expectations. The autocamp itself boasts a harmonious blend of luxury and nature. The accommodations are top-tier — comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. The custom-designed Airstreams are far more than your typical campers. They come equipped with boutique-style amenities, providing a serene retreat after a long day exploring. The outdoor campfire, a wonderful gathering point, quickly became a personal favorite for late-night conversations under the starry sky.The staff were nothing short of amazing. Every team member was knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to assist with a warm, welcoming smile. They went above and beyond to ensure that the stay was comfortable, from assisting with reservations to providing insights on local attractions. But perhaps the most standout feature of this autocamp is its location. Nestled among towering redwoods and adjacent to the stunning Russian River, the camp provides a picturesque escape that simply can't be duplicated. Here, nature's beauty is your backyard — whether that involves peaceful walks by the river, birdwatching in the tranquil early morning, or kayaking through the water under the afternoon sun.All in all, my stay at the Russian River autocamp was an unparalleled blend of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty. It offers an authentic yet luxurious camping experience that I would recommend to any traveler in search of something truly special.

This is our second time here, and few things has changed. First, they serve the pastry in the past, but now because of the budget cutting, it is no longer the case. Second, it is great to find that the overall environment remains the same and is always as cleaned and modern as before. The only issue we have is with the entrance. Obviously it is a gated property and it did not open when trying to go out. The sensor was not working and we had to backward a little bit.

Perfect getaway spot which is very close to San Francisco. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are 3 types of room you can choose which are premium airstream suite, classic airstream suite and tent ( no bathroom). Public restrooms and bathrooms are so nice. Mini breakfast is provided. Overall, recommended!!!!

Our stay here was OK. We stayed in a "premium location" airstream trailer. In general, it was a cute stay. Not sure I would stay again though. Cost after taxes was about $460/night. Some notes for those looking to stay:Save yourself some cash. Don't get a "premium location" room. There is no difference at all. All airstreams are parked about 10' apart. There are 2 rows of them. Not sure if the "premium location" ones are in the back or something, but the reality is, you are within about 10' of another airstream. No location really seems better or worse than the others.Photos on the website are pretty misleading. You are going to think you are staying in a cute, private, idyllic setting. Realistically, you are staying in a trailer park. A nice trailer park, but most definitely a trailer park. With those caveats, I don't think it's really worth the cost. If you like the idea of glamping, you can stay closer to town at a different glamping spot for 1/3 the price. It isn't without it's charm. The lobby is nice. The staff is cheery. We happened to stay when there was a really big group of tech bro stereotypes staying there on some retreat taking over all community areas like they owned the place which was very annoying, but that isn't the venue's fault.

Horrible experience. Rude and unprofessional staff. Dishonest business. I would never go back again. They had construction going the whole day. We went to get away and be in nature and they had very loud construction going on...fixing the campers. When kindly asked about it was met with very rude response and that simply it's allowed during the day. They also charged our credit card again for a sweatshirt we used our credit to pay for because the gal at the front desk said it was okay. We didn't want the sweatshirt but had the credit...the manager called us and said that regardless of their mistake they would charge us. So unethical.
