This was the most perfect and quaint hotel!! The rooms were immaculate and the service was so friendly and kind! Things were quiet and so well kept! The rooms were incredibly spacious and clean. The hotel is in the best location right in the middle of town!Nearby activities: Close to grocery stores, shopping and the prettiest coastal views!

This is a delightful place along California 1, the Coastal Highway. We've just spent one night there, and found the room cozy with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Restaurants are across the street and also up a ways--many close at 8--but we snacked on leftovers in the room with our own wine. There is an electric fireplace and the windows open!!A couple of oddities that you shouldn't dissuade you: the office closes at 6 PM, and also between 12-3. The hotel is short staffed like most businesses today. We arrived around 7, found our room key on an envelope by the main door, and settled in for the night. The office faces the rear and the parking is there as well. No fears of someone sneaking into your room. There is a grocery store a 2-minute walk away as well as a post office.I recommend this motel and would stay there again if we return to the area.

Although there're only a few things to do in town, this Inn has a beautiful view.

We just stumbled upon this place driving down the coast and loved it. Comfortable rooms with a view of the ocean, reasonable price, charming little community.

Cars rip up and down the highway till at least 11 pm and start all over again at 4 am so having to have the window open because they don’t have air conditioning, not even a fan, is a real problem if your actually trying to get any rest or sleep. For the price per night I’d think you should be able to close your windows to try and block out some of the noise but then it’s time to decide stuffy or noisy lol I guess it’s your choice. I know what mine will be from now on keep going the other way. The girl at the desk was an absolute delight thoughNoteworthy details: Absolute horror of a place if your looking to actually get any sleep

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy hotel room. The room had a beautiful view of the river and ocean. Car noise is noticeable but expected as the hotel is on Highway 1. After a while, you don't notice the car noise. My only complaint is the coffee maker/station was in the bathroom on the counter, about 3 feet away from the toilet. Needless to say, we did not use it, and we LOVE coffee.

Some of the best service and they go above and beyond to make your trip the best. Letting you in on all the local spots to play and places to eat. Will always go back here.

This place was great for my needs. Affordable, central to where we were exploring, clean, friendly staff. However, a couple of things may be dealbreakers for other travelers. Firstly, the hotel is right off highway one so the occasional car driving by can be heard. Secondly, the beach across the way takes some hiking to actually get to. We were not given a new body wash day two of our stay, which it was our only soap between two people so that was tough. Also, they gave us three decaf coffees and one regular our second day, which made our morning wake-up tough when nothing opens in the town until 7 am and everything closes by 7ish pm. The grab bar in the shower was broken, no full length mirror for a once over before going out, and the lighting in the room could be better. Website still says continental breakfast but this is inaccurate…there is no breakfast. As pros, lots of channels on tv, electric fireplace in room, internet was decent, mini fridge and microwave.Nearby activities: Hiking, beaches, light shopping, restaurants. Restaurants and stores close early in this town and take days off on different weekdays (Wednesday or Thursday seemed common). We walked into a local bookstore at 4:45 and it closed at 5 but we were told he was already closed down. He gave us a tour and was kind but that day I would have bought something and I chose a different bookstore two days later instead just because, when I returned the next day, I wasn’t getting warm, fuzzy, welcoming vibes.Walkability: There are nearby walking trails. Most beaches take a bit of hiking. However, 1-3 miles do not too bad. Some stairs to the beaches are currently washed out due to the recent rains so read up on the availability on signs at the start of your hike and even some of the trails down have a stream running through them currently. Restaurants and stores close early in this town.
