WATCH THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE MONEY THEY GIVE YOU. I've had this lady twice. She's the one who refuses to give you the bills you want and only what comes out of the counter. This time, she gave me a Canadian penny. When I politely let her know while it was still on the counter she said "well it's the same thing as a penny" WHAT then hit me with the "we don't exchange foreign currency" WHAT YOU GAVE IT TO ME AND I DIDN'T EVEN GRAB IT YET plus I thought she just said it's "the same thing" yet she's treating it like it's not when it's convenient for her. WHAT PLANET ARE WE ON. WHAT COUNTRY ARE WE IN. I would like American money from my American bank please and thank you. She ended up exchanging it for a REAL penny but lord have mercy. This is a bank...

Went to this branch yesterday morning (Tuesday 04/02) and there was a long line with only 2 tellers. An elderly woman stopped a woman who looked like a manager (she works in the Premier room with walled window and desk with door) who flatly said "I don't know I just got here. I don't know what the issue is" and simply walked away to her office. Very rude. Luckily a couple minutes later a man came up with an iPad to expedite things which was great. I had ordered money Euro. He said it was here but the teller was not and to come after 11. I left and came back. I get to the teller, Sima, who cannot find my money. She's says it is assigned to her but she looked and no luck. She has me wait for another teller to return from break. That teller walks in and Sima asks her, she says "I don't have it." This goes on for a bit until Sima rechecks her drawers and there it is. She was extremely friendly but honestly what a strange branch. From the employee from my first visit not at least offering help the the elderly lady to the needing to drive back yet again to have the where's my money oh it was right in front of me scenario - I will not be coming here again. Seems like staff needs more support in place so things can run smoothly and tension stays low so the customer has a better experience.

Terrible customer service!! Shutting down my account, never willing to help out or do anything for a customer! I was told I could get new Christmas money over the phone and when I went to buy it or order it one lady was about to do it for me and the other one stopped her and said no we don’t do that anymore! What a B!! And was very rude about it like I was trying to steal from them or something

Went to Grover Beach Wells Fargo to open up another checking account. I have been a customer since 1970 and have several accounts with them. I went in on a Tuesday to open up the account and was told I had to come back on Friday. There were NO customers at that time just me. I said ok I'll go somewhere else Their reply was OK!! Are these people just flipping lazy?? I drove to Santa Maria WF branch They opened the account, no problem. Very professional and courteous. Looks like Grover Beach WF needs better management!!

Every single time I come in there is a huge line to the front door. Higher more people or stop cleaning or doing other duties when customers are here!! Sick of it!

These people are so rude! I’ve never had such a bad experience with a bank. I went to Chase right down the street and they were pleasant and friendly. The tellers at this Wells Fargo have consistently been rude to me and my family members. Glad we all closed our accounts with them and bank with Chase and US!!

I’ve been a “valued” member of the Grover Beach Wells Fargo since 2015 so this is coming out of plenty of experiences. Let me save you the time and effort, stay away from this bank. Simple… Super slow service, the lines are always long, plenty of good tellers that came and left and the rude ones stayed. I now drive to either San Luis Obispo or Santa Maria branches to get away from these “people” temporarily until I close all my Wells Fargo accounts.

Every single time I have been there there have only been two tellers when they have spots for 5. Minimum wait time I’ve gotten so far has been 18 minutes. If you’re coming here for counter service might as well bring a chair while you wait.

Love that I can cash a check directly in to my landlords account every month without myself having an account here. But HATE that’s there is only ever two tellers when I come in and they are always helping customers that seem to have difficult issues.I’ve been waiting in a stand still line now for 20 minutes while the same two customers are being helped. The gal who was coming by to see what we were here for today should have split up the two tellers, one for bank deposits and one for other transactions (ie foreign money exchange)Really annoyed. There are now 10 of us standing in line and it looks like at least two more people outside.Chase bank wouldn’t allow this.
