I always get food poisoning from this place. The meat is always out of date. I have tried many times since it’s the only decent grocery store nearby. This Vons is not safe.

This Vons is probably the best grocery store in the area, it has reasonably priced food, a great deli selection, and very friendly staff! The only cons about this location are that the self checkout registers tend to go down more often than they stay up. Update: The selfcheck registers were finally working!

I really like our Vons, it's convenient, as we live across the street. I was somewhat dissapointed today. My friend went to look at the wine section and was asked if he needed help, he replied with I found it, but the intention of the employee wasn't to help him. Her and another employee started following him all through the store. This isn't right. He felt uncomfortable and told the employee he was being too obvious. There was no reason for this behavior. Shame on you Vons! You just lost some good customers!

Self checkout attendant was unhelpful and seemed antagonistic. Istead of helping solve my problem she just stood there staring away.Im not from here but I thought customer service was important.Back to walmart I guess.no more vons ?

Back home we shop at Safeway, which is associated with Albertsons and now we know that back east, ACME grocery and now Vons are associated altogether. Which means your rewards work at any of them.
Bakery is better than our Safeway. Bigger cake slices, more frosting and some new flavors. I say this because I'm a sugarholic. Love sweets.

This has always been my go to grocery store because it’s a nice store and I always know where to find everything and there’s a good selection. The prices are high though and getting their discounts with the app is way too complicated. Last time I tired to use it, I couldn’t even get the app to work. The store is always very busy but it’s well kept and clean. It’s super hard for me to find things since the recent remodel, but it looks nice and I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I couldn’t find their gluten free section at all last time and the cashier had no idea where it would be so I’m assuming they removed it. I do love how they have gluten free tags throughout the store that clearly mark gluten free items. My biggest complaint is that I wish they had more cashiers because the lines are always crazy long and it takes forever to check out. But that being said, it being so busy shows it’s one of the best stores in town.

After a drive from the bay we decided to stop in on Jan 15th to purchase some items. Upon entering the produce department the employee began to stare at us and continue to watch us. We paid him no mind until he came at us and accused us of eating grapes lol GRAPES! He then followed us throughout the produce department harassing us and continued to run his mouth and got louder and louder. He went too far when he said dont bring your kid here to feed him. This man completely assumed the events that happened. We took out a bunch of grapes that he seen us do but what he failed to see was we put them in another bag b/c our son has sensitivity to certain foods and it was too much. We did not eat any grapes in the store he assumed we did because he only seen what he wanted to see. The whole ordeal was embarrassing and frightening to our son. We did speak to the manager on duty but it was brushed off as if it was nothing. We even went as far and said look back on your cameras to see the real truth and of course there were none in that department. This employee was an older white man and we were 2 females and a child. Word of advise don't come at people if you only know half the story and don't judge people on how they look. Also our son does not do well in extremely loud areas and this grown man yelling at us with our son present had his anxiety on high all night so thank you for a GREAT experience in your store...?

I'm new to the Area, but I frequently come to this Vons after work. I'm usually exhausted and not in the mood to converse. It's nothing special, but on a particular day, one of the "teenage baggers" (I'm not even sure if he's a teenager, I'm just going off the negative review left by another customer who seems to think that she's an author) made my day by striking up a friendly conversation. I think he had excellent customer service and he should be applauded by the management of this store. I come to this store nearly everyday, and on this particular day, he made my day. Thanks Parker.
