Visiting from Sacramento came in to get some beer And fruit spent $75.. got to my receipt noticed my fruit was not 3 for $12 I went to ask about it and I was rudely told strawberries are not included.. I said ok I was told by the lady helping us it was mix in match I said I'm sorry I was unaware! I asked if we could fix it or did she want me to go get the fruit from my car .. she said "well yea that would be nice !" I was like no need to be rude it's all a misunderstanding . I said I will go get my bow contaminated fruit from my car ! I then said can't you just fix it ?!! She said well I guess so ! I said ok well that would be great !!! So 7.97 was owed to me probably not a huge deal but I'm a single mom of 5 and that's a gallon of gas .... I paid with Apple Pay and she kept asking me for my card to refund I explained to her for now the 3 rd time there is no physical card "i paid with Apple Pay " ughh at this point I said just give me cash please!! She then open the drawer and handed me a five dollar bill and $.97 and then close the drawer I said ma'am I think you owe me 797 then she got rude open the door the rest of the two dollars and threw it at me!Her name was Kathy I said Kathy are you the manager or the GM she said no I said OK what is the first initial of your last name and she said I don't have to give you that I said yes you do I'm not asking you for your last name she refused to give me her last name I told her I would just take a photo of her and then she ran to the back and left me hanging

I got a Manager special ribeye today...perfectly seasoned, perfectly aged...it didn't require pre-planning for storage and aging...so I immediately had an early dinner after leaving the store...

I came here in the middle of the night not knowing that you closed at a very early 8PM. I was in dire need of Benadryl because I was having a terribly bad allergic reaction, the wait time at any local hospital was entirely too long and I was having a tough time breathing. I was full of hives and was in serious pain. This situation was more than emergent. I know that I didn't have the opportunity to work with anybody here but this was a terrible way for me to find out that your store has a huge parking lot and is sparkly and neat, so organized looking. I bet it is wonderful but goodness I wish you had more convenient hours. I did go there the following day and was in and out quickly with what I needed. I didn't get any help from anyone here and the cashier hardly said a word to me. Eh. oh well.

I want to recognize the "Drive up and Go" employee Melissa at the Grover Beach Vons. She is wonderful and puts my faith back into the workforce of California. She always greets me with a smile, says "hello" using my name, and takes a moment to inquire about my well-being. She is polite, respectful, cheerful, and makes the experience pleasant. Thank you, Vons for providing this service and hiring exemplary people like Melissa. Well done!

I frequent this store. Today I had cashier Jenni. She was super nice and respectful and engaged me in a good short conversation! I donated to the food bank and she was super greatful! I guess she was having a great day and she spread it to me! I'm really happy after leaving vons today! Thank yu

I went to Vons tonight and as I was walking up to my car this nice friendly young man asked if I needed him to put my grocery's in my car I said if you don't mind I would appreciate if you could put my Diet Coke in my back seat. He was so polite and he helped me with all my groceries he mentioned that when he's gathering the carts he always asks people if they need help. I forgot his name but he was about 16 to 20 years of age about 5'9" skater type hair cut and it was dark brown and he was slim. Will I shop there again you bet I will because it's clear that they have trained their employees how to provide awesome customer service! Good going Vons on Grand and Oak Park!

I want to give 5 star to Jennifer in the Bakery Department. I came to Pismo Beach last month to celebrate my brothers 50th bday and called the bakery department to place an order for a cake. Jennifer went above and beyond to take my cake order. She made sure that my cake matched my Desert table. Jennifer is not only good at what she does but she was so friendly and nice. Awesome work Jennifer

Vons store in Grover beach has a mandatory face mask notice posted at entrances BUT DOES NOT ENFORCE FACE MASK policy for those who flaunt or choose to ignore the statewide mandate. I vote with my dollars, so ALDIs and TJs will get my votes.

Why has Von's in Grover Beach, CA., chosen to allow people to shop without wearing COVID masks? It is putting its customer's and staff in serious jeopardy. I've been shopping at the store since it opened, have acted responsibly about dealing with COVID, and now see a store and company that disrespects good customers and is not acting like a good corporate citizen. I am going to start shopping elsewhere.

I've shopped at Vons since they entered the market in Southern/Central California and I'm generally a fan, but not all Vons are created equal and this one can't compare to its sister store in San Luis Obispo. I'll gladly make the 15 minutes to shop at the latter. I've been shopping here for over 18 months, and have only kind words for the staff, by the way, always courteous and pleasant but the store is just kind of low-rent in terms of the quality of many of its products. It clearly caters to those looking for quantity---plus sizes seem to count more than variety and quality. The produce selection is often not that great and often seems like its just plain not fresh. But my biggest pet-peeve--I think this store is a graveyard for shopping carts! Seriously, every cart seems to have wheels that don't track straight or have chunks of rubber missing so its like pushing around a cart with a flat tire! clunkity-clunkity-clunkity. The customers here buy in big quantities, they push out carts loaded full, they at least deserve carts that work. Just saying...

the pharamicist was very helpful.even helped me with my good rx card.my insurance costs 80$ more.thank you vons pharmacy.your great.get a good rx card and save money.i pay 500 month for my insurance and prescription 120 w insurance.with good rx card 80 bucks cheaper.
