My wife and I went in to renew our passport. Lacy, the postal employee greeted us and was very friendly. She helped us through the whole process. She was very kind, friendly and professional. I chose to come to Grover Beach post office to renew our passports even though we live in Fresno where you must be rude to work there.

Actually I rate this post office in grover beach ca. As 1/100 of a point.Reason you ask? I went to usps I'm Grover beach, CA. 6/7/21 and mailed an iPhone SE to Africa with reference to Nigeria. The clerk asked if it was suppose to go to south or north Africa and I wasn't sure and told him that the address I wrote on the label is what I was told to write. N.G.He asked what the contents were and an iPhone SE for close to $500.I asked if insurance was part of the amount I was paying and he answered yes.He handed me the label to fill out and totaled $26.57. The tracking number was for intercontinental not international. After I handed him the label he asked North Africa or South Africa. I did not know. So he wrote south.Today is Decembet 28th, 2021 and still haven't seen or heard about it. I cannot file a claim because it doesn't have an international tracking number.This phone went from Grover Beach ca to Santa Barbara to LAX to Chicago. It road the conveyer belts in Chicago from 7/10/21 to 8/12/21It even went to Kansas then to Korea? Then to Africa Middle part to Johannesburg 9/10/21. The next text said leaving Johannesburg 9/10/21.I have no idea where it is and neither does the USPS.I wrote a letter to the U.S. Postmaster General listing all the ground covered by my package and didn't receive a letter back. I received a letter from the postmaster advocate telling me to give a claim.It's obvious they don't know their own rules. In order for me to file a claim the package had to be labeled with an international tracking number and the clerk did not have me use one.
