I love this place! I can bring my acoustic guitar and play inside or out in the nursery.

Cool and Cozy Coffee joint. If you're looking for a pick me up, or a little refuge up or down from your drive, this is it. Authentic, organic, comfortable, good.

Not sure what the hype is about this place! It’s a cute spot and the coffee was fine but the food was not good for the price. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a handful of arugula for $6. The bagel had a mealy, crumbly texture like one of those bagged grocery store bagels. The cream cheese was cut off a block and just put on the bagel, no spreading.

Definition of "hidden gem" that is right in front of you. Snuggled in a garden environment of nature, it has tucked away a variety of local treats. A boutique of sorts with art, clothing, and more. The house is full of options and fun. The service is always super friendly and helpful.I truly enjoy supporting local businesses like this one.

Brunch taken in the morning. Superb experience. Quality dishes, quiches, desserts at moderate prices. The boss is very friendly and welcoming. Stop there.

Definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re passing through. There is a cute little shop in the front, the coffee was great and reasonably priced, and the food was also very good. I stopped in to work for a bit one morning and found it to be a great atmosphere though a bit chilly inside. The garden/ nursery in the back also has several places to sit and enjoy some sunshine or a walk around. Can’t rave enough about this one!Vegetarian options: Delicious bagel and cream cheese with greens on it

Very "boho" place with great atmosphere. Baristas were a tad iffy....unsure what "breve" indicated...after a fashion all was good!!

Very cute local establishment. Be patient as it’s family run and each member could be out at any time taking care of the property. The blueberry coffee cake is insanely good and made by one of the owners. The banana bread was delicious too.

I have been coming to Mountain Sage since they opened. What this amounts to is coming back, and giving them a chance every few years, and sadly, it continues to be over priced, over rated, and not very good.A Thomas’ bagel with cream cheese out of a store bought sleeve will run you $5. A tiny microwaved breakfast burrito is $10.I gave them two stars this trip because the coffee was hot, unlike last time.Last thing, if you pay with a card, there is a mandatory 4% surcharge.I’ll try again next season.

Stopped here on my way back from Yosemite. This small coffee shop has a welcoming rustic atmosphere. The coffee was great and paired well with the drive back through the mountains. My son, who is very picky about food, was raving about the English muffin.

Ditto to the 5-star reviews below…. Piling on: their homemade gingerale is very tasty, Trina is a totally together person, I had a lovely chat with one of the owners watering the nursery plants… the whole place is just a little universe of goodness ?
