A must visit while in Groveland or nearby. It's the oldest saloon in California. Service is great, great selection of beers and great picture spots. Very enjoyable to finish your day after visiting Yosemite park.

This is THE place to stop after a hard day of climbing in Yosemite. Food is consistently fantastic and the staff is amazing. I think I've eaten over a hundred burgers here over the years and have never once been disappointed.

We arrived in Groveland today in anticipation of visiting Yosemite. It was too hot to cook, so we headed to town and found this place for dinner. The history here is really cool, having been a business in this building (in one form or another) for over 150 years. The food was good and the service was excellent, as was the atmosphere. My only gripe is that we were charged "large group" gratuity for my wife and I and our four kids. That was sketchy by itself, but in light of the fact that servers in CA are already being paid a living wage by force of government, it feels even sketchier. It wouldn't stop me from coming back - the server was great, and I'd have tipped him anyway. I just don't like surprises. I've always tipped well because I knew servers depended on it, but that's just not the case anymore in California.Vegetarian options: They had a few vegetarian options.Parking: There is free parking across the street, but I could see it being difficult when they're busy. We were there at 3pm so it was no problem.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly, with a kid's menu too.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about this. Parking is a little difficult and there are steps at the front door. There may be an accessible back door that I didn't see, though.

Don't miss this gem on the way to Yosemite. PBR on draft with great friendly service. The ambience is straight out of the old west. Very much enjoyed some cold beer and the mounted animals.

Awesome place to check out and close by to Yosemite (about 45 mins). The staff were great and very hospitable. Thank you to the young woman who gave me some hot water for my daughter bottle (you have no idea how much it helped for a 6 hour drive back to LA)

The food is pretty mediocre but the atmosphere is really cool so after a few drinks the food tastes ok.

We had an incredible experience here. The bartender, Mike, was welcoming and friendly and made our quick stop before yosemite a great time. The food was delicious and fresh, drinks were perfect and the atmosphere of the saloon was great and interesting. Highly recommend you visit this spot on your yosemite visit!
