“I can’t say enough great things about the Hotel Charlotte. Finn and his wife are amazing owners who want to ensure that every guest is happy. The rooms are spacious and well kept but in an authentic 100 year old building kinda way. The food in the restaurant is incredible and they have a full bar with a great selection of craft beers. All of this 30 minutes from the main gate to Yosemite!”

“Our family stayed at this location in the last week of June 2024. This is a really amazing place to which we will definitely return in future. The staff was extremely nice, the setting in the woods is fantastic. I can't say enough good things.

Walkability: There are nice walking trails inside and around the property, and there is a sunset viewing deck. We saw a lot of wildlife - Blue jays, squirrels, deer, raccoons, mallards, bear, fox, etc. There meadows and creeks nearby all adding to the beauty of this special, special place.

Food & drinks: Good food. They have a main restaurant, a buffet at the pool in the evenings and a tavern...all are good. The store also has many options if you would rather eat noodles other preserved food.

Noteworthy details: The service is extremely good. Staff really goes out of their way to make you feel like you are at home. It is obvious that this place is run by people who want travellers to enjoy Yosemite and money is not the only motive. This place does not nickel and dime you for everything.”

“It was a great clean room and not too far from Yosemite. The dinner right across was amazing, great food and nice servers! Only problem was that the heat didn’t work! It was so cold in the room even with tons of layers and in the bed! My boyfriend and I were freezing the whole night, it got down to 37 outside. Very curvy roads getting to the place, watch the weather!”
