We booked our wedding block through Groveland Hotel and also hosted our welcome drinks there, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, the process was so easy, and their communication was excellent. They were always quick to respond to our questions and made everything seamless for us and our guests.
The team truly went above and beyond for our welcome drinks! Not only did they serve amazing drinks, but the food was also fantastic, exceeding our expectations. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality helped kick off our wedding events in the best way possible. We are so grateful for Groveland Hotel and highly recommend them for any event!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE IF VISITING YOSEMITE AND WHITE WATER RAFTING- historic building nicely renovated- clean, comfy beds, AC, tvs, WiFi, breakfast/coffee, quaint, friendly staff, reasonably priced, right next door to iron door saloon for food, shooting pool, and karaoke or pizza there in town.
We originally booked a place inside Yosemite and it was really expensive, old and disgusting not like pics on vrbo), no AC, and mice in house! We packed up and were so glad to get a room at this hotel in Groveland! Only a 45 min drive from YOSEMITE. Worth it.

Great little historic hotel. Comfy beds plus old world charm. Iron Door Saloon next door added to the charm of this town. If I was to ever come back, yes I would stay here again.

This is a charming, historic inn that is furnished quite lovely. The room we choose had a king bed so was very cramped, but we weren't in it much. And its an old building, so to be expected. It still had a small refrigerator and coffee maker, and a private shower and toilet. The sink was in the bedroom, which was a little odd, but we managed. We had a door out to the balcony which was super nice to sit on a bench and look out at the town and see the sunset and sunrise. It was great that there was a restaurant on-site for dinners, along with adult beverages. The morning "continental" was pretty sparse, but there was coffee ( no decaf though). It was very clean and staff was friendly. And it's a great location for a quick drive to yosemite. Overall a great place. And we enjoyed our stay.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! We spent the opening weekend of trout season in Groveland. It was our first time visiting and we can't wait to go back. First of all, Sarah, the hotel manager, started our trip off so perfectly with her kind, professional and accommodating manners. An absolute sweetheart. We stayed in the Adobe room with a walk in shower. I'm spoiled with my bed at home but this one didn't make me miss it at all. The pillows were so fluffy too. Don't get me started on the Chicken Masala!!! Best I ever had in my life. The salad was delicious too. We were lucky enough to stay here when they had Michael Roy as the live entertainment. It was a scene straight put of a movie, all of us patrons were up singing and dancing together and ended the night hugging eachother in a big circle while singing the final song. Groveland Hotel made friends out of strangers in the best way. Best bartender ever by the way!!! Can't wait to go back!!

My gf absolutely loved this place. It's very authentic. She taught she was inside Gillmore girls series.
The owner is a friendly person.

You're in Groveland, across the street from the Iron Door Saloon, and only 30 miles from Yosemite. So It's a great location. There is a cozy bar and a nice patio. The citizens of Groveland are nice, hard-working folk, so you shouldn't expect to complain about service. The service is as good as any place I've stayed.
My only complaint was that the place is an old building- which means you can hear everything around you. You can hear people talking, walking, moving about, and opening or closing doors all around. It's noisy.
Nearby activities: Groveland is just to the north of Yosemite and rainbow falls. It's beautiful country to visit.
