Every single night for the last few weeks around 8 pm we have no internet connection. The time when my kids are finally in bed and I have just an ounce of time to myself, I can’t even utilize the service I pay for to unwind and watch some mindless tv. The only time my husband and I can just sit and enjoy a movie together, but nope, no connection. On top of that, I rarely ever (actually never) have my phone connected to Wi-Fi because nothing works internet wise on my phone when connected. I am able to utilize the internet on my smart tv during the daytime hours only. Hopefully we can find a new service soon.

Reposting this review after a reply here to try and give this company another shot:After trying to use this company as my internet provider for over a year I'm finally fed up. We have gone through two different dishes installed on our property and are now on the third. The first dish worked fine until it failed. They were responsive and came and replaced it in a timely manner and said they were trying a new dish that ended up being a "lemon." The second dish had pretty much the exact same story and failed to being another lemon. The third dish they decided to point at a property nearby that they are now using as a new broadcast point for our neighborhood while my property has a clear shot to the nearest tower. The new dish maintains the speeds I pay for a ok amount of time but is completely unstable with spikes that will completely lag out to a point of dropping calls and needing to refresh a lowly YouTube video. I called to just try and trouble shoot and maybe see if we could find a fix and who I was trying to talk to was completely rude and tried to blame my hardware..even tried to tell me I have viruses. Completely unprofessional considering it's their hardware that has proved to continually fail. I know my hardware very well and know what I run and can see that its a connection problem. I asked if we could try to point my dish back at the tower to see if we could at least try to make it more stable and was told no. They wrote a tech request ticket and wrote that I called complaining. I called with a very friendly manner actually just trying to trouble shoot and work a fix. Ditching this company as soon as possible.After a reply to this review we were finally able to get a tech to our property to see if we could trouble shoot. Was told that the problem is they are fazing out the hardware on our tower and we don't have anything from the tower pointing at us. I asked when they would have hardware back up on the tower? Was told they don't know just whenever they can get funds for said hardware. Was also told they spent thousands to set up the new hardware pointing at the neighbors to broadcast a signal from there. And since they did this our service is the most unstable mess. I let the tech know that I'm getting massive ping spikes affecting my latency and this never used to happen. He proceeded to tell me "well we don't guarantee latency"........like what??? I've got another internet provider on their way. Can't wait to be done with this garbage

They provide a great option for internet, with it's unlimited data and low cost plans, definitely beats the competition. We've had them for about 10 yrs.

Beware!!! This is the worst service I have seen and I have been paying over $200 per month for their poor service. Conifer Communications is a joke! The service is down more than any provider I have ever used. I am currently on a two day plus outage with no restoration in sight until the workers get off of their long three day weekend. Before that, it was a nine day plus outage. Customer service is poor. Conifer Communications internet provider simply wants to collect their monthly fees and does not care if you have service. Beware of this company!!!

We are getting so burnt out with this company. I want to give an honest review for anyone looking for internet up here. The pricing is great. But I do believe they had to lower it because of the function of the actual internet. Truthfully, we lose internet service on average, 4 times a day. Sometimes as long as 2 hours. And also, weirdly it's at the same times every single night or same day around same time. If you work from home, do not consider this company. They have very little communication which isn't fun to deal with. not open on weekends or have any customer service available any day after 4 and none at all Saturday/Sunday. The whole "small town" excuse doesn't work in the state of California. Now I can definitely understand a mountain town in Montana, but here? No. Crossing my fingers it gets better because the prices are decent compared to others.

Spoke with Hannah Sawyer today who is one of their representatives. She was kind and understanding. I was out of service for both the “snowmageddon” and the prior large power outage from the rains. She listened, understood, and addressed the issue. Also, I’ve had the Conifer team come to my house several times and they’ve always been very profession and efficient. Conifer is a small business that deals with super rural areas so issues are bound to come up. I’m grateful for their consistent quality in customer care. Appreciate you guys!

The most over priced and unreliable internet service provider I’ve ever experienced. The smallest storms cause massive outages that takes days to fix. I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for a consistent internet signal.We have reached out to Conifer for solutions and was told we would be put on a waiting list. That was a week ago with no update or any communication from Conifer.

without internet for almost a week. made numerous calls. know it's a conifer issue because we've checked our modems and cables, we're not stupid and know it's not on us. told us they would be here this morning, it's now 12:15 and I'm leaving in 15 minutes, so we will now have to call again and for another day, no internet. we paid our full bill during outages due to the storms. i understand that. don't understand this at all. very disappointed.

It honestly baffles my mind that anyone would give this company more than two stars. I guess the other people like having constant outages, outrageous prices, speeds constantly slower then what you pay for, and a horrible customer service that loves to blame your router for all of your internet issues while their social media is filled with apologies for their internet being down every other day.

We haven’t had internet in 5 days and instead of communicating with their costumers on when this will be fixed or at the very LEAST a time frame, they have an answering machine stating no one can talk right now (for 5 days) It’s Friday and I have no doubt in my mind that we will be going all weekend without internet as well. This company will fail if operating like this continues. Zero costumer service of any kind.

I must say that I've been with this company going on my 3rd year. Yes it's not the same internet speeds we get in the Bay Area for the price but it is reliable. It gets the job done for us when come up on weekends. We stream movies and use it on many electronics in our home. Over the years they have restructured their internet plans so that us customers get better speeds for a better price and I truly appreciate that. I also truly appreciate Sonja sending emails to update us on their current situations with troubles they are having. Thank you Sonja and everyone at Connifer Communications for all the hard work you are doing during these hard times!

A very disappointing service provider. We have only been a customer of theirs for about 80 days and on most of those 80 days the signal buffers or drops completely. Currently there is no signal and has been out for more than 24 hours. They do not answer their phone or return emails. It looks like I chose the wrong internet provider. I will simply chalk the set up expense to lesson learned and move on.

A company that over promised and under delivered. I have never received the speeds I paid for in my two years with them. Their internet constantly has outages due to them waiting for their equipment to fail before replacing it. Would not recommend, Hughes net would be a better choice than this so called internet provider.

Duckwall is down now for 3 days, and I'm told it will be down for another 6 days. They "borrowed" a snow machine from a "nice man" and couldn't get there. So you are telling me you dont have the proper machinery to maintain your systems. Do you have snow shoes?This is ridiculous!

The people taking the calls are horrible, plus rough customer service over the phone. Was thinking of moving to the area but will not be getting internet from them and moving to Starlink.
