This place use to be awesome. Unfortunately that has changed and the service is pretty poor. I love my doctor, but the support staff is not great. There is no communication or accountability.

Great medical care, and very prompt appointments. Their medical back-up (NP, RN's, lab techs) are so thorough. Front desk is very difficult - long list of questions 1) are you a pt of OneMedical 2) do you have an appointment 3) what is the time of your appointment 4) do you know your PCP name? 5) what is your date of birth 6) what is your first name - and on and on. Dim bulbs. that's the only reason for the 2* - the tedium of communicating with the front desk.

Dr. Vandeville, at this location, is fantasticBut the overall service has dropped badly. It takes DAYS now to hear back from the Medical Team. One Medical used to be a service where you could count on better help than the average doctors office. Now, I would argue it's actually worse. Instead of just being able to call someone, you typically have to go through layers on their platform and then wait forever. It just took me two weeks to get a medication I really needed to get within 24 hours for a trip. No word from them when I needed their help.I'm done. I just started looking for another medical service that One Medical used to be like.

Good providers... when you can see one. Providers change locations often, and if your PCP changes locations they won't have a plan for getting you another one at the same location, or anywhere nearby. Good luck getting an in-person appointment, even for "urgent" needs. They're helpful for telehealth urgent care, otherwise overbooked and poorly run. Still might be better than other options in the area, but that's not the same as being good.Update: current wait time to get an in-person appointment see a new PCP for a pap & physical is 4+ months. I've been established with One Medical for over 2 years.

Avoid. Finding a good primary care doc in Marin is difficult and you won't find one here. If you need to be seen for an occasional minor illness, they are probably ok.

I love One Medical. I have received great service when I needed medical care. They make it easy to set appointments and take care of most medical needs at one location.

One Medical? More Like Gone Medical. It seems that ever since Amazon acquired them, you cannot find any appointments. I used to like going to this location but now they are telling me try another. Done.

As Sympa L said over a year ago, yes....be very careful in going to One Medical. I went to see them for leg pain that I thought was sciatica, which most likely was just a sprained hamstring. I incorrectly assumed it was a basic medical appt, but I was very surprised when I received the bill. I was nickel and dimed for any question I asked them; be careful. Don't ask many questions and ask billing before you go!

Avoid One Medical. This organisation is utterly incompetent and does nothing but waste your time. My work insurance policy provides One Medical to me for free and they have failed to deliver the most basic services (annual check up + flu and covid vaccine).

Very rude staff and made it 7 minutes late and closed the lab at 4:15 while my appointment was 4:10pm without notifying while replied the text at 3:25 that I am being late. The person was talking very loud and literally yelling. So disappointed with one medical and never going back

Paid the money but zero quality of service. Can barely get an appointment to see anyone let alone a primary care physician, takes them forever to get back to you with test results, very slow response (many days) to messages, long hold times. This practice barely functions. You could really fall through the cracks with this place - I'd love to drop them and find some place with better follow through.

MILL VALLEY LOCATION: Strawberry Village:Connor O. at the front desk (administrative staff) is always so kind and helpful. He has a really nice demeanor and is very personable. He has replied consistently to my various questions and always seems to have a gentle, supportive attitude when answering questions or offering guidance. I think he also has a good sense of humor. Even though he is wearing a mask, I think he must be smiling when he does his job. He also has a solid understanding of the protocols, website, other facilities etc. Christina, the phlebotomist/lab tech, is extremely kind and amazing at her job! I had to have several vaccines and she offered advice about each. I ended up rescheduling and she was very supportive of that decision. When I came back in, she remembered me and was funny, personable and kind. On top of that, Christina is very, very good at her job. I could hardly feel the needles. She is fast and handles the injection part so well. I plan on asking for her each time I need labs. I get labs frequently and so I know the difference between lab techs in various locations. If you are squeamish, ask for her! She will make you feel comfortable and it won't hurt!

Called to see a doctor,, I could not call to the front desk, got someone in.Texas, than Illinois. When I got there, didn't see a doctor but an RN, there was no doctor there. She could not write a RX for me saying because I.was a new patient. Stay away from corporate offices throughout the USA like this.

I am not a patient of One Medical, nor do I plan to be so this is not a review by one who has had experience with their services for primary care physicians. What I did do is consider who might be a doctor I'd want to see should my own retire, as does happen more frequently lately. After considerable digging I found the staff listing at Bay Area locations and unfortunately there are not so many actual MDs on the roster. What there are are an extensive array of NPs, PA-Cs, FNPs, DOs, DNPs, MPHs, etc etc etc. There's an old saying, this about NPs when they were they main alternative to actually seeing you doctor: Doctors think they're god, and NPs think they're doctors so may as well go for the doc. Good luck finding one once Amazon begins to deliver your medical care. Question in my mind, will it arrive by UPS, USPS, or perhaps someday a drone?

One Medical considered as an entire organization has some fairly major issues, particularly around seemingly their ownership and management believing that their having automated a lot of the user experience means that they can under-invest in human resources, and as a result the experience overall has gone to s**** The Marin branch in Corte Madera - Bon Air Center - is excellent. My PCP has changed my life and I will never be able to repay him. The front desk staff are kind, well trained and professional. The phlebotomists are friendly and excellent. If you ignore the general problems associated with One Medical as an entire organization (see above statement on that), this is an excellent choice.
