I moved a while back and made a change of address with the post office. I can't tell you how many times the very nice woman who bought our house had to call us and tell us we had mail there. When I contacted the post office they almost blew me off and the problem continues to this day. In my new house they won't let me give the gate code to them to open the gate.The manager almost proudly told me "we don't do that." Can you believe somebody would brag about not doing something? And I waited 20 minutes in line the other day while the one person on the counter waited on people. There were at least two people in the back room I could see but they couldn't be bothered with opening up another window.

We are new to the area and today I needed to send an express letter. I stood in line and watched as the heavy-set mail clerk treated EVERYONE like they were a MAJOR inconvenience to her. Needless to say, I was treated no differently. It was disgusting and sad to watch. Her supervisor needs to get a grip on her NOW! She absolutely should not be allowed around other humans. She has no respect for her job (which she's lucky to have) or anyone for that matter. These words are falling on deaf ears I'm sure. Looks like people have been complaining for years! DO SOMETHING!!!

This place is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! Outdated system, worthless management, angry & unsympathetic employees who couldn't care less if you actually get your mail or packages. How hard is it to deliver a package to the address shown on the damn label? Not hard unless you are one of these morons apparently. Time to clean house and eliminate this entire business. SHUT IT DOWN!!!! As tax payers we are paying through the nose for this service/government business, and getting ripped off!!! Let a private business like UPS or Fed EX take over. Enough already. I'm tired of paying for shit service. Everyone do yourselves a favor and pay all your bills online, eliminate as much as you can of your dependence on this dog shit government run shit show.

WORST POST OFFICE IN THE UNITED STATES!! Constantly losing packages or stealing them. Super lazy, will NEVER, not once, redeliver when requested. Refuse to bring my mail to my house if it doesnt fit in their tiny boxes when my house is about 1.5 miles away AND they drive by our street and past us to deliver to other houses. This makes no sense!!! AMAZON NEEDS TO DUMP THE USPS FOR GOOD! LET THEM SINK!!

Checkers are the rudest people under the sun. Got scolded for trying to help and take our stuff out of the basket. Got scolded again for asking a question about the sandwich stamp cards. Got scolded and dirty looks while checking out with this one checker. He should be fired and not allowed to work anywhere where he has to interact with the public for everyone's sake.

Rude is about the best I can say. My daughter bought a bagged salad and when she brought it home the bag was full of air. I told her she needed to take it back. When she did the cashier in the express lane said okay but he wouldn't do it again and that it was our fault. That they never had an issue with the food that left the store. We spent over $100 and it was a bagged salad for gosh sakes. Anyway I tried to explain that she brought it straight home (20 mins). He wouldn't listen.

I have lived at my address for 22 years & never had a problem with getting my mail, but in the last 2 years packages have been either lost or given to the wrong address over 20 times. The postmaster was no help. By this time some action should've been taken by the postmaster with my carrier. Couple days ago they lost another package and tracking said it was delivered. They still cannot find it. I lost out on money & my item!

Where is my package it had tracking and shows the box arrived at your post office and NEVER LEFT!!! It's been over a month and still no package maybe someone at your crummy post office should bend over and take a look where they lost my package. Incompetent or did some worker swipe it????

Recently moved to Grass Valley from a more urban area. I've had more issues with this post office than I had in ten years in my previous location. The carriers are nice, but the workers at the office are rude and unhelpful. Several times I've asked for help and simply provided them the same information the carrier told me, and the worker practically called me a liar. Several times I've been told I had to come into the post office to get my packages, which is a big pain in the butt as I don't have a car. On one ocassion, when I did manage to get there the staff at the post office couldn't even find my package. They said they'd call me back, but never did. I went in a few days later and when I explained what happened, the woman I spoke with said "well it's right here, they would have seen it." Again, staff is rude and unhelpful- definitely need some customer service training (or new staff).

The deli is awful - mostly Sysco frozen foods reheated and the meats and cheeses are not good. Some very rude employees working there as well. Pricing on groceries not competitive with the exception of weekly sale items or IGA brand.

OMG I forgot just how good your meat is. I moved to Sacramento 5 years ago, so it's a little far to go get meat. NO I will travel the 75 miles to buy a months worth of amazing beef,bacon and pork. Plus the money I save on your prices will pay for the gas. I forgot what customer service was. Your employees are worth their weigh in gold. Thank you. I will fond a way to move back home. I miss you guys

Incompetent at best! The carrier lost my package, she did not even attempt to locate my address. Supervisor was no help at all. I can't even get the phone number for this place because the call number refuses to let me speak to an actual human being. Spent 40 minutes on the phone not getting through to someone and 40 minutes in the post office waiting for an answer only get an "sorry we lost your package we fill find it at some point." I'm so thrilled.

I am frankly tired of shopping at the deli and paying a high price for their meats when the deli staff pays no attention to how they are cutting their meats and how they are wrapped. There are two employees in particular who pay no attention to the amount you order so you always get more than you want and have to pay the price for it. There are some deli meats that should be sliced thin but it doesn't matter if you specifically ask that it be cut a certain way - they just do what you want and then to get it home and just want to throw it out. I have complained, but to no avail. These people need to be trained and display better customer service. There are other establishments that care more and will definitely get my business in the future even if they are a little further out of town.

The BEST meat market, I like the old fashioned layout of having all the meats neatly displayed, a knowledgeable and friendly staff, minimal wait time and the meat manager Glen C. is amazing. He's a hard worker and it shows in the quality of his work. I will be returning multiple times. Maybe I can bring the meat manager lunch one day.. I happen to know what he likes.

I was trying to decide between three stars and four stars for SPD markets but I gave them the edge since they are our local market here versus the big Safeway or Raleys, both of which I also like for different reasons. What I like best about SPD is that they carry dolmas in the deli which I can't find anywhere else and I really like! They also have a good variety of everything. I've heard several people say that their prices are better than Raleys or Safeway but honestly I don't notice a huge difference, they are higher on some things and lower on others I guess. The checkout people and others I've met that work there are genuinely friendly and that is always a plus! It is also really nice that they have a post office right there in their store so I don't have to go to the main post office to deal with mailing packages.
