They kindly worked us into their queue the very next morning and after a quick inspection they advised us that we were OK to continue our trip, declining to take any payment for their efforts.

“I had a good experience there.. What I thought was a thermostat problem turns out to be a big crack in my radiator... I think that any other auto shop would of fix the thermostat problem and charged me only to tell me later about the crack radiator ,, that has happened to me in the past with other problems I have had in the past.. “Needed to replace transmission fluid. Scheduling was easy, drop off was a breeze and pick up was simple.
They clearly explained to me that Fridays are shorter days, and that if my car was ready, to please be there before 3 pm to pick it up. Otherwise my car will be locked in the gate all weekend.. They close from 12-1. All of this was explained before I scheduled and at drop off. I recommend Mel's for transmission needs.”
