I get my oils and salts here! High quality and great to use on everything! Employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. Love the applewood smoked sea salt and tuscan herb olive oil. I can't get this quality unless i go to Napa...thank goodness we have this in Grass Valley! Visited feb. 3rd. See receipt.

The quality of the olive oil, and balsamic vinegar is amazing. I bought lots of gifts for Christmas this year. you've got a punchcard and when it's full you get free items. If you become a member you get 15% off your orders.I love how they give back to the community.Kim

What a wonderful find in downtown Grass Valley! The selection of olive oils and teas is first class! You can also sample them to see what you like. I love the Tuscan herb olive oil but they are all unique and delicious ! The aroma of the oils when cooking is amazing! They also sell pasta and other goodies. Great place!

My friend loves their mission fig balsamic. So, we went to grab some more for her to stock up on. It was my first time there, so we sampled several vinegar flavors and they were so good I couldn't pick a favorite nor could I walk away empty handed. So, I bought apricot, raspberry and a dipping dish. Debbie was really sweet and helpful. She even gift wrapped my items for me. Hoping to order more from them in the future and have it shipped to me. So so good!

My husband and I visited the Olive Groove today, Mar 29. We live here in Grass Valley. We had visited this store on several occasions and were interested in purchasing tea and flavored oils they have available. I am not a Yelper. However, I felt like I needed to post this review on Yelp because I did not like the way we were treated. My husband and I were not dressed in our usual attire. However, my money is just as green as the tourists who frequent Mill Street. The woman was discourteous in the manner in which I felt my husband and I were treated. We asked to sample several oils with the intent of making a purchase. We felt like we were bothering her and the questions we asked were met with a surly reply. I have a Sales and Human Resources management background. I understand the value of customers relationships and as a business owner, I would want to know if my employees have mistreated my customers. It was not until my husband opened his wallet did I feel that this woman become engaged in our time spent at The Olive Groove. Happy with my purchase, however, extremely disappointed in the shopping experience.

Truly a hidden gem in GV. This is the only oil I use. They have some many different types and styles. The olive oil I get makes my food taste delicious and it great to cook with as well. All the balsamic are great for everything too. So many favors to try and find the right ones to take home. I wish they a monthly subscription, and sent you new stuff to try.. I would do it.

My favorite store to shop at in Grass Valley. Selections are wonderful in tastes and you can have sample tastings before purchasing. So glad Olive Groove is a thriving business. Please try her flavors you will not be a bit disappointed!

Before the pandemic, back when I had my shop in Old Town Sacramento I'd bring my small dog to work with me. During breaks I'd take her on walks around Old Town and got to meet a lot of people. Twice a month we'd go shopping at The Chef's Olive Mix. They were always very welcoming. We recently moved to the Grass Valley area. My husband and I have enjoyed taking our dog on walks in downtown Grass Valley. Up until the 2021 Christmas season began we'd mostly window shop out of respect for small business owners. I've been there myself though I always welcomed people with pets into my shop. I know how much we think of our pets as family. So right before Christmas we noticed a couple with a cute dog inside The Olive Groove. We, literally, went in because we thought they were pet friendly. It made sense to us since they serve their samples in the back. Anyway, we ended up making a purchase and we were thrilled that we'd found The Olive Groove. However, this weekend we went back ready to purchase and this time we brought our small dog with us. As soon as we came into the store we were told that we couldn't bring her in. So we left. The rules should be the same for all not just for a certain few. I guess we will continue to go to The Olive Mix. We like them enough to buy their products and send them across the country to family and friends. The Olive Groove does not get my business. When I'm on Main Street it is because I'm taking my dog on a walk and I can't leave her on the sidewalk unattended while I shop. Needless to say a disappointing experience and good experiences matter.

The flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars are tremendous. The staff always know how to suggest great pairings. Nice location, great atmosphere and excellent service.The online ordering process is too-notch. Check out the recipe suggestions and pairings of the month. Christina and her crew never disappoint.

Love this place and fortunate to have near Beale AFB!! Best balsamic vinegar ever!! More like a mix between a syrup & glaze/reduction!! I buy it by the largest bottle now for $34. Super neat store & friendly staff as well!!
