During the COVID ammo shortage, my son drew a rare pig hunt on Grizzly Island (shotgun only). I have been searching high and low for some kind of slugs to use. The owner of Hunter's Blind kindly went to the backroom to double-check. He was really lucky and found a box of slugs that would work!!! Thank you. You are a dad's hero!!!

Very poor customer service. I asked the owner how well this Tom decoy worked that he was selling, and asked if it was better then the hen decoy. He said "oh yeah way better, works every time, I swear by those decoys". Now that Tom decoy was about 100$, and the hen decoy was about 40$, so that should've been my first sign that he's trying to up his sales (which I understand from a business perspective). So I went ahead and bought the Tom decoy, used it for three days straight, and guess what, it scared the Toms away, they ran away from it like it was a mountain lion or something. The fourth day I didn't use the decoy and just used my turkey caller, and finally got my first Tom! So about a week passed and I decided that the decoy he sold me was a piece of trash and I wanted to return it and get my 100$ back. He then said "can't return it, turkey season is over", and I was like what?? I understand that he's a small business owner, and has bills to pay, but that's just bad business. Because if he did let me return it, I would have continued to shop there and he would have made his 100$ back easily. But since he decided to be stingy and not let me return it, I'll never shop there again and he got himself a nice yelp review to go with it. Hope it was worth the 100$ man could've had a lot more than that if you were business savvy.

Great owner, happy guy who can help with just about anything. Prices are pretty good and he gets lots of interesting things in the door. Bought my first weapons there and he's happy to chat with customers about all manners of firearms, hunting, etc.
