i called Suburban Propane to request them not to enter via our private back/side patio. The tank is on the complete opposite side. Last time our large dog was sunning on the patio and got spooked by the technician who than kicked him. When I called the rep said she would make a note but could not promise and said "sometimes its hard to know left from right". Tank is on the left-private patio on the right.

The worst service possible....they "guess" at when your tank needs to be refilled and I've had my tank go to 0 twice in just 2 years. I live in a residential community, not in the mountains, ridiculous.

This review is about the service we received yesterday when we had a leak in our valve. Ryan, Aaron, and Angie from Grass Valley all supported the fix and did so in the most prompt and professional way. They were super thorough and made sure our propane situation was safe now and also proposed a longer term solution. I couldn't be happier with how they handled. Everything. Thank you!!!This is a tough job, people get very nervous about not having heat for their home or having a leak. The team was awesome and so glad we have you here to support us.

What exactly do we have to do to get our propane filled? We called weeks ago and you guys told us you’d be out last Thursday. You no-called/no-showed, and after we called days later, you said you actually meant this Thursday. Well today is Thursday, and you once again no-called/no-showed.It’s one thing to say, “Hey we’re really busy and we will get to you as soon as we can within a certain time frame”. I totally get that. But when you give me your word on a specific day TWICE, and lie to me twice, now I just don’t like you. This is when you lose business and destroy your reputation.

Raised minimum fill on propane without proper notice. Had problems with them last year when I was freezing and out of gas. Don’t care about their customers ordered gas around Jan 3,2024 Was told it would be delivered following Wednesday the 10th. This is the 17th No Delivery. Now out of gas. Tried to call local office after 35 minutes on hold I gave up. Great Company, NOT

I am looking elsewhere I have been waiting over a week for them to come fill my tank, 6 telephone calls always "He is on the way don't worry, BS" The ladies in the Grass Valley Office do an excellent job covering for their poor service and try to sound upbeat. Worst place avoid at all costs. They will cheat you out of money. Charge for ridiculous things. We are going with a different company. I recommend not dealing with them.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. When we first got service they filled our tank. Then we had a leak and they came out and changed our regulator. Said it was our fault. Lost 70% of our tank. Had to pay. They said they didn't change the regulator even though I HAVE the old one. After that we were monitoring our own tank and we never ran out. Then, they pushed us to go on auto refill. We ran out on Christmas eve. Ran out again in February. In Feb. I knew we were almost out. Called at 10% for a refill. They put us off day after day. Then we ran out day of the big storms. We went 12 days with no fuel. Coworker of mine who lives at Lake of the Pines ran out when we were at the 6 day mark. Got filled next day. We waited another WEEK. our roads were clear. Riddle me that? Pick anyone but suburban. I called every day. Never got a local person. Always had to wait at least an hour on hold every day. Unacceptable.

I am set up for an auto fill and four months in a row during the winter they let me down. I ran out on a Sunday morning when I had company in the winter. The last time they let it run out, I gave them a heads up, a couple of days in advance, I cut my usage way back because I did not want to run out. I was at about one or 2% and they didn’t show up for three days. And they couldn’t commit to a date so I didn’t know if I was going to run out completely or not. And then they had the nerve to invoice me late, and charge me a late fee. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I was told to call them for a refill at 35%, I called at 30% and have called them 5 times in the last week, we're now below 15% and all I have received are apologies and promises and no service. I don't care for the statement that 20% is ok, it's like gas in the car, I don't let it go under 1/4 tank and I am the customer, if I want a refill then refill the tank!I will be looking at getting the tank replaced and using Ferral who care about their customers.

I have been without propane for 24 hour, no heat or able to cook. My house is 55 degrees and snow on the ground, I can't leave because of the snow. I am signed up for autofilll and they don't service us at all. THE WORSE BUSINESS I HAVE EVEER WORKED WITH. Do not do business with this company!!!
