Our ShibaChi,Brandy, has arthritis and kidney disease, most likely caused by the lyme disease which was undiagnosed for 6 months.
Lindsey read her labs from Motherlode. I learned so much during our 15 minute consultation!
Brandy is feeling better. She's more energetic. And! Never before has she eaten twice a day, not leaving a morsel behind.

absolutely wonderful staff and store!! you can literally see them preparing the food right in front of you!!!! plus they LOVE when you bring your pets with you to the store (as long as they're well behaved of course).
they offer holistic pet foods and treats, toys, literature written by vets and so sorts of apparel for your furry friends.
10/10 would recommend to anyone with a fur baby. cat or dog. they'll help get your pet to the healthiest and happiest they've ever been!! ????

I don't even know where to begin. We have a 2 1/2 year old French Bulldog, Max. For the first 2 years we fed him what we thought was top of the line kibble. We tried couple different top brands. From about 6 Mos - 2 years old, Max, puked up all his meals. It was the saddest. We tried everything to help. Slow feeder bowls, small increments, Vet Visits, nothing helped!! He would projectile vomit his water and all of his food multiple times per day. The amount of times we had to clean sofa and floor was daunting. The amount of $ we spent on paper towels, crazy! Not to mention our boy couldn't keep his nutrients down. We randomly visited Shintos and decided when there to put him through their 15 week food cleanse. We had nothing to lose. Within a couple weeks, our boy no longer puked at all. On top of that, he seemed happier and much more well behaved. The amount of $ we spend on food makes him healthier and happier and we are no longer spending $ on food he's not processed, and also not going through cases of paper towel and loads of laundry. Finding Shintos was a miracle! We love stopping in once a week for his meals, and getting all the delish fresh treats. It's seriously the best for our boy and Natalie has been so helpful from day 1! Our family is forever grateful for how much happier our entire home is with a healthy, Maximus! Thank you Shintos. 5 out 5 stars and recommend for everyone who loves their fur babies!

Going into Shintos is like going to a holistic doggie wonderland. As soon as I arrive at the store my dogs get excited. They are treated like family and greeted with love. We always leave happy with the confidence that they are getting the best nutrition possible.

Lindsay is amazing. My little Theo had diarrhea. She set him up with food and he is feeling so much better. She also always helps with my fosters. Such a generous loving woman and her employees get it. They put love in every product. Love Shintos! ❤️

It's been a month since we started Kizzy on Shinto's food. She diagnosed with arthritis in her hips and spine. We are happy to report we have seen improvement since she has started food.

I started at Shinto's when my standard was a pup and Lindsey & Monica were the only two making all the foods. From their dedication, HARD work out of LOVE for providing the best nutrition, they've grown this business. They make simply THE BEST FOODS, great variety and I love their bone broth and their special trays to freeze single servings. They take their time to answer questions. My standard has passed on, and now my little Juliette is on their food products - I know she's getting the highest quality foods money can buy. Expensive? Yes - but vet visits for a sick dog with issues from poor nutrition is WAY more expensive, both financially & emotionally. I eat organic foods, why shouldn't my beloved canine companion?

I think the food is healthy, the problem is the inconsistent texture. Also the customer service is lacking. They need to do better, the food is expensive and it is being given to our most important family members. Know your audience.
