Fun story: DO NOT EVER hire Sears Home Services for an appliance repair. Our fridge crapped out 3 weeks ago. I called Sears because I figure "It's Sears, they're reliable!" WRONG.Tech came out 2 weeks ago this coming Monday. Ordered two parts to be shipped to me directly. One part that "definitely needs replacement" and one part that "we may or may not need."The possibly unneeded part was delivered 2 days later, the important part was cancelled.I started calling in that day, asking for info, to get assistance finding the part. I was told they would escalate it to the parts department and I'd hear back in 24-48 hours. I have called in every single day for the last 10 days, every time they say they're escalating it and every time I never hear anything.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Overall very good. The technician was courteous and professional. My only complaint is Sears did not notify us at all of his return appointment's cancellation.

Nice guy but just said he couldn’t do anything, didn’t take it apart just looked at it and said to replace, called someone else and they took it apart and fixed it

Andy knew what he was doing. Showed us the part that was missing 1/2 of itself. He even came back and fixed a clamp to the dryer hose along with a hole he found in the dryer hose. He also brought up this huge heavy package that we couldn't carry up our stairs. BONUS! He even gave our new puppy treats. Such a nice guy. Would reccomend Sears/A & E always!Service: Dryer repair

I scheduled preventative maintenance on my washer. It had been working fine. After the technician left, I discovered that I had a hose that was leaking all over the floor. I couldn't easily reach Sears again, so I had a friend get me a new hose and he fixed it. I then spent 45 minutes on the phone with Sears just to let them know what happened. Customer service transferred me to the repair department to schedule an appointment. I didn't want that! I got transferred back to the customer service dept. and after another 30 minutes I let them know that after all my frustration I would like to request a $50 refund (the cost of the service call). He said he would take care of it and send me a confirmation email and also gave me the website to follow up. I never heard back. I can't reach anybody. The website doesn't have a complaint area. He didn't send me a confirmation email like he said he would. So frustrating!! Never again will I use Sears home services!!p.s. I hardly ever write a review on anything!

Worst experience I've ever had. Scheduled a visit where I waited 1-5pm to then get a text at 6:30pm that they rescheduled to another day. I waited 8-12pm two days later but nobody showed up until 5pm. How is that acceptable?? And they have only an app, no live agent. Never again.

Horrible, horrible horrible! Can’t get a hold of anyone easily. It is quite an effort to talk to a person. And they are not customer friendly. if I was not already committed to a service call fee I would cancel my appointment. I need to have my Kenmore washer repaired. the hoops I’m having to jump through are ridiculous! Parts weren’t available parts are are not going to show up for days. once again, very difficult to speak to a live person over the phone and get some assistance and when you finally do, they don’t have much information to offer and are not customer friendly. I will never use Sears again for anything! It’s sad, because Sears at one time was an incredible store to buy from and do business with.

Sears Home Services ----IF YOU COULD GET THEM TO SHOW UP! I have no review of their actual service since they have cancelled BOTH TIMES for the same repair need. Their automated TEXT reminds you daily of your appointment. THEN, when they are supposed to be here OR after the scheduled window for arrival has expired, they call and say they don't have a Tech available.Won't discuss the situation, just to push it out another week or cancel the appointment...When might they show up???? Cancelled
