Deanna was very knowledgeable when it came to teaching me about dying my hair. She took her time to explain the different products and answer any of my questions. I recommend this Sallys :)

Staff was friendly and helpful, answered a couple of questions.Just a real bummer I now have to drive an additional 30 minutes to get to a Sally with the closing of the Auburn, CA store. ??

Nicest most organized store I have ever been to! When I pulled into the Ross/TJ Max parking lot, my mission was to come to Sallys Beauty Supply in search for an Emerald Green hair color. When searching at 2 different stores, this was the last one to look at on my list(after being to two DBS stores, already. I was able to get close parking in a very tight parking lot. As we walked in, every box/tube/product was faced forward, brought to the front of the row, and throughly organized... I was so impressed. It was also very satisfying to my eyes. It was the cleanest, most organized Sallys Beauty Supply I had ever been to. We were greeted as my daughter & I walked in. The woman asked if we needed help looking for the specific product we were looking for. She helped us find that, plus deep conditioning masks for my daughter's upcoming new do. At the same time, this woman was helping another customer decide how she wanted to go about changing her color.. We paid and got on our way. I left happy. I wish I could remember that woman's name because she was so helpful and her store was immaculate compared all i have been to (I've been to many) SBS stores I have been to across the states. Way to go, SALLYS!

The reviews showing 1or 2 stars are more accurate. I came in looking for nail art kits, and basic nail care products and was totally ignored for several minutes. I was actually shocked at how blatant the two sales girls were about ignoring me, since I was the only customer in the store. They were discussing their break schedule with each other and not once did they approach me. Sadly, it's like this every time I go in here. When ever I ask questions about products they never know the answer or supply any viable solutions. I try giving people the benefit of the doubt, and approach them if I truly need assistance, and usually it's at this point that they seem to want to help. The shelves are often disheveled or empty, not well stocked. The store is poorly managed, it's apparent. I will say, the prices are good, you just have to endure the rude service.

Nobody here seems to know what they are doing, I watched them sell a 40 developer with punky color hair dye when the lady already had super processed hair. At least sams beauty knows what they are doing

The lady who helped me is soooo helpful all the other places I went to didn't have conditioner hair dye but thks place did. I would definitely come here again.

We were visiting from out of town and I came in for an Emory board and cuticle clippers. A young lady went above and beyond letting me know I had $35/$40 in rewards to use. San Diego stores haven't even mentioned this to me. I was able to get all of my skincare products early and use the rewards. I had no idea I had them. She was extremely patient and absolutely a gem. I think her name was Deanna but I lost my receipt. I could be completely off. thanks again. I'll make sure to come here anytime we come to visit.

Weird vibe every time I go in, not to mention totally different people are working every time. I've rarely encountered the same person twice. Why don't employees stay? Nobody is really cheerful, or genuinely friendly there. Sure, they ask if you need help when you walk in, but it's more in a robotic way than out of desire to help. Then they lurk and ask again if you need help when you're trying to decide on what color hair dye you want or what color nail polish. Just overall a weird, cold store. Definitely not somewhere you go for the service, but for the products. It's been like this for years so whoever manages this place should take a class on how to make your employees happy and your customers want to return.

I came in yesterday for a few items. The two girls working were knowledgeable and very friendly. I appreciate the fact that they have a sign up requesting masks during the pandemic, and both employees were masked up as well. Good on Sally Beauty Supply for being on the side of science! Will definitely be back, thanks!

I went in here for the second time. The first time I wen tin the woman behind the counter looked like she was at work in her pajamas. Lackluster customer service at best! The second time I went in I was looking to lighten my hair a bit. The woman told me that she didn't actually color hair, but attempted to sell me some products regardless. There was only one person working, so she left me in the isle while she rang up 3 other customers. On the way up to the counter she told another customer "She wants to bleach her hair at home". Which wasn't exactly true, as I had only been asking for her to help me find the right products to lighten my hair. I didn't walk in intending to "bleach my hair". After waiting for nearly 10-15 minutes for her to come back to me, she told me that there was nothing I could do and didn't offer to help me any further. I will never return, nor would I ever recommend anyone to go there for supplies. If you are going to sell beauty products at a beauty supply store, you should have a certain level of knowledge about the products you are selling!

Absolutely horrible! I would give this store zero stars if it were an option.....my credit card was recently stolen and used fraudently at this store before it was turned off and reported as I noticed a transaction had occured and my card was missing....after making a report with not only my bank, but the police as well I was told to contact the store manager about the actual incident...upon calling I told them that my card had been used in their store on 3/29/19, and why did they NOT ASK FOR ID UPON THIS INDIVIDUAL USING MY CREDIT CARD.....I was told it's NOT their store's policy to check identification for credit card purchases....when I asked them if they could PLEASE check the cameras for that day so I could find out who in fact was responsible for the theft of my card...I was informed that they had in fact cameras, but DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO THEM....when I asked for a return call back from somebody that had that authority I was told I would be contacted by the next day...when I called back late the next day following up on the return call I hadn't received and the information I needed i was told there was NOTHING THEY CAN DO...so all I can hope is karma comes and maybe puts them in a similar situation where their identity and finances are violated and they are told THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE ...cus I'm sure they have access to those cameras when it's a benefit to them finding out something....for example....who's stealing from them???!!! I'm thinking it was an inside job though...and perhaps whoever used my credit card is friends with an employee or the manager....either way pretty pathetic and disappointing customer service to say the least...I can say I won't be shopping there myself....even if they get a "sale" from me again...lol.
