Wow! Unbelievable. My 88 Dodge Ram Van which I was using to move my belongings to my new home leaked antifreeze while I was filling up gas at the Chevron across the street. They were the closest mechanic so I coasted into their driveway as my power steering was also not working so the van was almost not drivable. One of the staff came to assist and told me it would cost $150 for diagnostic. No problem if you can fix it. Minutes later I was told it’s actually $250 because they consider it a motor home!! Really?? Ok, well I asked if they can recommend anyone else so they suggested down the street. In order not to damage my vehicle any further I called AAA to get a tow. Within 5 minutes I was told I need to move my van off the property and was threatened to have cops called on me. I said go ahead as they might actually help me. I managed to start the van and coast down to Certified Automotive who was more welcoming and helpful. I have been using mechanics for over 30 years and never have I been so disrespected. I would not recommend them to fix a flat on my crustier bike. If negative reviews were available it’d be -3 stars. I hope the owner reads this and reevaluates what community service is all about and helping others in need. Bless your life!

My husband took our 2004 Tundra in for the required smog check. He then went to a gas station and tried to open the hood. It wouldn't open. He took it back to Ray's and told them that they broke the latch. "No. We didn't." They wanted to keep the truck all day and CHARGE to repair the damage they caused! My husband was angry and left, saying, "I'll fix it myself. I won't be back!"

He overcharged me and yelled at my kids for playing in the parking lot!! I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. Let alone another person making my kids cry for being kids!!!!

They have just a terrible attitude there. I would avoid at all costs. They are not about the customer experience. Plenty of other options in Grass Valley. Do yourself a favor and explore them versus this place. The owner Sim is very abusive and argumentative loves to pick fights so the other reviews here are totally on point.
