The Alabama Theatre is a piece of history. If you visit Birmingham, you should NOT miss seeing the inside of this iconic building. It took my breath away. The pictures fall far short of its grandeur.

I ordered treats for my dog online for pickup at my local store. When I checked out my $5 reward was not credited. I figured when I went to the store the employee would be able to credit me the $5 back to my credit card. I was told Petco Online & the store are 2 different companies and he was not going to help me with getting the $5 credited. He told me if I wasn't satisfied, I could return my purchase.I accepted the order, but will not shop at Petco again.

Don was amazing. He held down the fort while everyone was at lunch. (He was the only worker I saw throughout the entire store) He not only helped me with lizard food, cat treats and dog treats (going above and beyond to check in the back to see if they had what I was looking for) but also helped to checked out myself and other customers at the front counter. This man deserves a promotion. I have never really had a good experience until he helped me today. My usual experience is always forced sales... trying to pitch me the expensive products instead of helping with what I'm looking for.Don you're the Man!!!! Thank you so much

This Petco is always out of everything I need, whether it is for my cats or my dog. Lots of empty shelves, and every time it’s stated there’s a supply chain issue. I have no issue finding things I need at the Auburn store, so I guess I’ll shop there or go to Incredible Pets which is a more local company. Additionally, it is usually very hard to find someone on the floor to ask questions. I usually have to go to the check stand and wait in line just for that. Do better!

Holly at Petco in Grass Valley is awesome! She took amazing care of my dog Buddy who went in for a bath and trim. She made him very comfortable and trimmed him beautifully. I will be back for sure!!

Everyone at the store is wonderful. I can easily get my dogs in when I need. Holly the groomer is amazing and does a great job. I would give you 5 stars except you need to resolve the Vital care issues. I never have a smooth check out process due to Vital care. Discounts don't get applied, no explanation about how/$5 credits are applied, etc. I usually spend 20 minutes at least each time I go to resolve the Vital care, charging/account issues. Other than that, I highly recommend this store. And compared to other Petco's I've been to, the Grass Valley one rates 6 stars!

I normally would give it a 4 just because of customer service. Obviously, prices are high, but they have a decent selection. However, the last time I was there and I needed help finding an item. The sales girl was aloof, pointing to the other side of the store, saying, "I think they are in that corner." I looked, and they were not. I then found another sales associate who walked me to the items' location and was friendly. I am nice and understand bad days, but the whole interaction with the first employee was cold.

I was at this petco the other day and encountered a young lady who has gender dysphoria, and thinks she is a he. As soon as I came up to the counter I was immediately confronted with her telling me that she had enough energy for the rest of the day because another customer had came in and at some point had complained about the pride merchandise around the store. Saying "Uh hello? I'm part of the community." She then stated and I quote "then she started spouting some Christian nonsense." How can a company be proud hiring someone like that? I am a PROUD Christian and found it EXTREMELY uncomfortable and unprofessional. This girl should be fired. She is not fit to be working among the community. I wish I could have had the nerve to stand up for the customer and my own faith. Then she was aggressive about trying to get me to sign up for their rewards program. Uhhhh after all that talk you just did? Yea, I don't think so. Took me 4 times of "no, thank you's" for her to finally back off. Everyone is so desperate to become part of a WOKE society that they'll hire anyone, I swear. Never coming here again. Also, the really tall slightly older gentleman that works there could obviously care less about his job. Painfully obvious that Petco needs to get their priorities straight. Get normal people who care about their job in there.

The people that work at this petco needs to be fired. I just watched them totally gang up on one of their customers. I've never seen anything like it. I don't know who they think they are but I'll never go there again.

I just picked up my dog from the Petco groomer. We have been taking our two dogs there for a long time and have been satisfied. Today was different. When I picked up my dog I was given a bill that included other services. I took him in for a simple bath only, and to have is paws clipped. The groomer decided he needed $25 more of services and just went ahead and did it without checking with us. If an auto repair shop did that without calling first they would be in serious violation.They also didn't bother to inform me of the "up-sell" when I got there. It wasn't until I was standing at the cashier that I found it.The bottom line is, if they had called us and said that they thought this needed to be done, we probably would have agreed. But to have them just add services on their own is wrong.We will find another groomer....
