Long wait a poor customer service there is a new guy there now not the older rocker guy .the new guy sucks said my would not pass smog. Took it to rays it passed with flying colors. Do not recommend this place at all

Karl is AMAZING. Such a cool guy.. efficient and friendly, he gets the job done. The price may sound higher than some of the other places BUT, your cert is sent straight through and you get a copy. There are NO hidden or "extra" fees for smog here.
Be prepared to wait...can be very busy. We know who and where is WORTH the wait around here!

Don't know the gentleman's name but he was awesome. He was busy as hell but still took the time to let me know where I was at in line and didn't rush through the process. He ran a presmog to make sure I didn't cone back a gross polluter( I would have). Free retest. I mean who else would you go to for that kind of service. Thanks again.

I've been coming here for years; since Karl owned it. On 3rd owner since and won't go anyplace else. Scotty trusted me to come back the next day to pay when he said he'll take gold or silver for payment. How many do that anymore? Love the barter system anyway. He even had snacks and drinks out at no extra charge! Awesome service still after 20 yrs.

I went here after Paradise Campfire. I was short on money but had to snog my car. When done he said no charge.I cried and hugged him. He did not know I needed smog fee for food. That is just who he is folks. I will never forget and remind myself to pay it forward.Getting smogged this month cannot wait to say hello. Another Nevada County jewel.Service: Smog certification
