The store is old(er) but pretty clean. The vegetable selection was great and reasonably priced. The meat, cheese, and wine selection were very impressive. It's been about 9 years since I have been there. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and very welcoming

I generally shop at Grocery Outlet when available. You can't beat the prices and I love their inventory. I shopped at the Grass Valley location for the first time (we are moving to the area next year and return monthly to explore and find our home). I was so impressed! Its selection was the best of any Grocery Outlet location I've been to, and I've been to many between San Diego to Everett, Wa., and many locations in between. I also used to shop at the Arizona locations in Tucson a long time ago. This store's inventory was incredible, it was well organized, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be shopping here for sure when we move here.
