Good people, small local business, friendly, professional, get the job done as fast as they can. Can’t ask for much more.Update: there’s problems at this place. Maybe not a bad option for a screen but when you buy a phone from them and it’s not wiped and you see the owners texts… yikes! You don’t even want to know what I read.

I took my phone in over a year ago to retrieve data due to the cracked screen. I paid $100 up front. My phone was sent to a place in the Bay for the work and after waiting six months I tried to get in touch but Cracke'd had closed without contacting me!! I've been trying to get in contact over the last nine months and have been unsuccessful. I am posting here as I see someone else was able to reach the owners by doing so. PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!

Currently have my phone in their possession, left a voice mall telling me their store is closed and to call their personal cellphone to pick it up. Left no number for me to call back. Website is down and so is their office phone. Not happy with their customer service department. Tried multiple times to get a hold of them and am now leaving this review to catch their eye. Once I get my phone back I will be updating this review.Review updated 5/28/2022So finally got my phone back and settled on the total balanced owed on the repair. Phone works and everything was made right in the end. Had to wait 2 or so months to get this thing back. Glad to have it back as I have a lot of work data on this phone, mostly hours I worked in the field that I can now get paid for. I updated my review to 4 stars. I had to drive another 2 hours just to get my device.

I dropped off my Ipad and watch for screen replacement on April 22nd, I had correspondence with James after that and paid a $405 invoice in March. To date I have not received my watch or Ipad back. No email response or phone calls. Next step small claims court...

This guy took 2 of my phones and $120. Never got the phones back (been a year now) and now he’s closed shop and now where to be found. I don’t even care about the money, the phones had memories I needed to unlock.

In February I dropped off my 12.9" iPad Pro and paid $100 up front for a battery replacement. Weeks later I picked it up only to discover that they had ruined the screen and that the cameras didn't work. James took it back and promised to make it right. Here is s transcript of a Messenger thread that followed. Jane's seems like a nice guy who has fallen on hard times. Whatever the reason, I will have satisfaction. In the meantime, steer clear of this business. Beginning Saturday, March 19 several weeks after they received the unit: JAMES: Doug I keep playing phone tag with you do you want to meet tomorrow. This is James let me know. DOUG: That works. Time and place? Present day: After weeks of back and forth and one excuse after another, either he no longer answers my calls and texts or his phone has been disconnected. Do not do business with James or Cracke'd' Wireless.

Cracked has had my Ipad since November. The screen was cracked. They replaced the glass but broke the trim. They kept telling me the parts are coming the parts should be here soon.Now they've gone out of business (Or moved??? No forwarding address and the phone number has been disconnected) They have my cell number so they should call me if they have scruples, but I have yet to hear from them. Guess they've taken my Ipad.......Very frustrating!!

If I could give this place NO stars, I would. Horrible service. They took a deposit on my phone and told me it would be ready in 3 days. THREE MONTHS later, they still have the phone, my deposit, and have left the building they were in. They are completely unreachable by phone, which is no longer in service, and are no where to be found. They never tried to get ahold of me and after MANY attempts by myself to reach them on the phone and in person, they seem to have vanished! Terrible business, really disappointed.

Do not go here. It's a money laundering business and drug front. As well as steal your money and do not do the work you pay for. Save yourself the trip and find a different place. A friend just let me know a few years ago their phone that was sent here to get fixed was sold to someone else and was used by someone in Reno?

This individual tried to get me to pay twice for a repair and refuses to return my son's phone. Now, with no recourse, I have to file a police report and small claims action. Save yourself time and trouble, do not trust this individual.

Brought the phone in on Monday and the technician said the phone would be fixed by Wednesday. I think he texted his boss in Sacramento to order the part but it was never ordered. Attempts throughout the week to get updates on the status were unsuccessful - he kept saying that he was expecting the part at FedEx and we asked if he had a tracking number, but he didn't, probably because it wasn't ordered. On Friday I went to the shop and asked for an update and he said he would have to go check at FedEx, so I went across the street to get some refreshments and when I came back he was helping another customer. I overheard his boss (a woman) who had just shown up saying that she was special ordering the part for it to come on Saturday and I went ballistic. All week long we were being lied to about the status. I demanded the phone back and a refund of the $250 for the "repair." The lady said she hadn't told us the phone would be ready, BUT HER AGENT had. She called the main shop and had the charge reversed. I checked online to see that it was posted and it was, but later I found it was reposted on my credit card. I disputed the charge in January and it wasn't resolved until March and in THEIR FAVOR. I am thinking of taking them to small claims court at this point.

Originally went there to get a cracked screen fixed, which too longer than makes sense, but whatever. 2 months later screen stops working out of no where. I'm not a phone repair guy so again, I say whatever. So I take her back to cracked to try and get her fixed again. That was a Monday. By Wednesday it was untouched. I asked for it back and Brought her to ceallairis by quietechs rec and he had it done in 15 minutes. Showed me random screws and unnecessary adhesives that cracked put in there. I'm not a yelping sort. But I just want to warn people.

I lost my insurance because Nicole was slow. 50% down payment was a loss. Not blaming her but it. It was it is. She did a good job but time sensitive is questionable. Not to mention the parking in Grass Valley. Personally I'd never go there again.
