This place has the best ice cream I've had! Sooo good! It's super cute inside and has a large variety of flavors. Chocolate peanut butter...omg! The staff are super friendly too.

She served us last minute with kindness and patience and great suggestions. All the ice cream was perfection but we especially loved the lemon custard, pistachio and bing cherry!

Delicious ice cream, homemade candy, vintage candies like Necco wafers, Sugar Babies, and Pez. Very friendly service!! Right next to the excellent Tess's Kitchen and Culinary store.

Coco's has all of the same charm it always had before they rebranded. The candy and ice cream are still to die for, and the new location looks great! The staff that helped us were very sweet (just like the candy!) and they have a very large selection of options for both ice cream, chocolates, and various other candies. They also have a party room on the side for hosting birthdays or other celebrations. As a local, I always love seeing their ice cream carts at the fairgrounds and other events and I'm glad they're carrying on the tradition with the shop as well!

Im disappointed that they serve gunthers ice cream as they use high fructose corn syrup. The place is cute and lots of fun candy options but Im afraid there might be unclean ingredients in the candy as well. Bummer. Really friendly staff.

This review is so long overdue. We love this ice-cream shop. For a while when we would go the hardware or grocery store we would pass to see if it was open yet. Located in the corner by Save Mart next to the Verizon store. Little by little we watched the progress. Then one day it looked open. We parked and went in and had the best butter brickle ice-cream. I've never tried it before and now it's my favorite. We were able to meet the owners who told us there was a grand opening coming up and asked us to stop by. We had the grandkids that weekend and when they are here we are always making a trip to downtown Grass Valley for ice-cream. (not the same owners but there is a connection) This location is so much more convenient for us and it got a high approval rating from our grandson. Because it's not as crowded, he was able to look at all the other goodies that are for sale on the shelves. There are more tables and space so you can sit down and eat your treats. Larger groups of people are able to gather. If the weather is nice, tables and chairs are also provided outside. I am always buying Jelly Belly licorice mix for myself. This store carries a lot of Jelly Belly but they didn't have my licorice mix but it was on its way. Again, the store was still getting set up and stocked. The owner took my name and number. A few weeks later I got a call saying my favorite candy was in stock. How nice. It's in bulk so I was able to go in and tell them how much would fit in my candy jar and that's what I got. I eat more of this than I should. Glad I don't have to buy 5 of the Jelly Belly small bags to fill it up anymore. I'm writing this review today but we have been to the store many times since the opening with and without the grandkids. If you haven't tried this new ice-cream shop, please do. It supports small GV business and it's actually great. The staff is nice and helpful even when the owner isn't around.

Gave our grandson a gift certificate to Coco's for his birthday . He had a ball picking out his treats with help from the staff. Highly recommend for gifts and personal sweet tooth cravings.

Amazing experience as you walk in to an old fashioned ice cream & candy parlor! The RockyRoad Ice Cream is my favorite ❤️
The shop is owned by local folks❤️and they have created a very unique shop complete with a birthday party room for events.

We have been to this ice-cream shop so many times it's embarrassing. My husband's favorite is the cookie ice-cream sandwiches. I normally love rocky road but the butter brickle is so yummy. We have our grandkids a few times a month and we bring them here. Last week we went to the downtown Cornish Christmas. Tradition is to end the night with a trip to the ice-cream shop. It was crowded as always. That's a good thing but too crowded to let the grandkids walk around to look at the stuff on shelves and the line was super long. My smart grandson asked if we can just go to the other ice-cream place. Good idea and the location is closer to our home. We are glad we came here. The Christmas decor was sweet and the grandkids got excited because there was Santa and a mailbox. So scoops of ice-cream were ordered and 2 very important Santa letters were written. Not sure if letters were meant to go in the letter box but we did it. It was a nice wind down after the Cornish Christmas and a special memory. As always the staff was super friendly to the kids.

I came in here 3 days after they opened!They opened October 13! They are located at 2072 Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley ( in the Fowler center). What a great new shop! It has candy..chocolates..italian ice and more!They have plenty of parking! My favorite was the dark chocolate turtle shaped like a turtle ( see my photos). The owner is friendly and helpful.They are finishing a separate room for kids parties. Its nicely decorated and has indoor seating. Smells so good inside! I will be back because it has such a great location! PlEASE NOTE..this review is for the brand new location in Grass Valley in the Fowler Center..not the one on Wolf Road (google maps finally pinned it!)

CoCo's is a great place to go for ice cream, handmade candies and fun! The customer service is top notch. They are a great addition to the Nevada County scene.
