Parked here to walk some gas up to my parents house who is blocked in on Brunswick with all the snow. Went inside to talk to someone about it but no one was around so took the gas up and came back just to be cussed out. Was told that if I did that again I would be towed. Tried to apologize and explain the situation just to be told the post office is free (parking lot is completely blocked by snow) because I am too cheap to support their business so I don't have permission to use their parking lot

The staff is friendly the drinks are cold. They rarely open on time and they have a deli that they never utilize. Great for stopping and getting bait, beer, and a snack. The frozen food is over priced. It's clear the owners are use to running a convenience store and not a market. I'd rate this place a 5 out of 5 if they got the deli up with reasonable pricing.

If I could give negative stars I would. The lady that works here is SO unfriendly and doesn't say a word to you. She finishes whatever she's doing first THEN helps you. She doesn't wear a mask either. I don't know who owns this business but they should pay attention to who they have representing their business.

This is a great little store but it has a big flaw that I can't ignore. There's a woman who works frequently here who will not wear a mask and is intent on pushing Covid denialism on customers. They also don't enforce masking for other customers. On this very day, every 30 seconds an American dies of this tragic and preventable virus. I am quite sick of coming up with the words to plead with people who don't care. I'm just simply not going here anymore. Chicago Park store is equal distance from my home and they have heart. The few times I have risked coming here I always forget something, get flustered, because it is so distracting to have to hear the ignorant speeches of this woman and dodge customers who won't wear a mask. I wish the store realized how bad for business their stance is.

I was so pleased and impressed with my visit to Cedar Ridge Salon today! My color touch up and cut are great--thank you Michella! This was my first hair appointment since COVID/shelter-in-place and I wasn't sure what it would be like. Cedar Ridge Salon exceeded my expectations with their attentiveness to staff and client safety. The night before my appointment I received a symptom survey by text. I was asked to wait in my car instead of the salon if I arrived early. When I got to the salon I was instructed to use hand sanitizer upon entering and my temperature was taken. I was the only client in the salon most of the time I was there and when another stylist and client arrived they were able to used the second room. I wore cloth mask in and I was given a disposable mask to wear during the coloring process so I didn't ruin my cloth mask. The chair and hair washing station were cleaned before and after I used them. The salon owner told me that she is using special A/C filters that cut down on germs. When I paid they even had a new clean pen for each client, and a separate area to leave the used/dirty pens. It is clear that lots of thought and care has gone into making sure staff and clients are at the lowest risk possible! I would highly, highly recommend patronizing this business!

I had a great experience with Georgia as my hair stylist earlier today. I went in to have my grey roots covered and make a small but noticible change in my appearance. She helped me pick the right rusty red color to turn my blond ombre into a red ombre. I was so happy with the way it freshened up my look. I have sat in Georgia's chair multiple times and the time goes quickly because she's easy to talk to and so genuine. I had a Christmas party this evening and got so many compliments!

Great experience all around! Georgia went above and beyond my expectations. It had been way too long since my last trip to a salon and she worked magic on my damaged hair! She was friendly and funny and I could tell she really loves her job. She made me feel comfortable immediately and the salon was very welcoming. I absolutely LOVE my new hair, I get compliments on it all the time! I am without a doubt a loyal new client. Thank you Georgia!!

Georgia Mullins is amazing! Not only is she a joy to be around, but she takes her time perfectly executing your perfect cut. I appreciate her attention to detail and professionalism! During my haircut she checked in multiple times make sure her vision was aligned with mine. I loved that! The end result was on point, if not better than what I had envisioned! I'll definitely be back!

I went to Cedar Ridge Salon the other day on a whim. My hair was a mess (multiple layers and lots of texturing from previous salons) and was fortunate to get an appointment for a cut and color with Georgia. I felt at ease with her recommendations and appreciated her professionalism in assessing what had previously been done. She worked her magic (for nearly 90 minutes) and I left with a very pretty bayalage and easy-to-manage style that I love!!!! Not to mention we shared some amazing conversations. One feels immediately welcome at Cedar Ridge Salon; the vibe is friendly and genuine. Many thanks to Georgia who made my visit five stars!!! I'll be back!

I love Kelly, and Michella, and this beautiful place that I'm lucky to call my salon. I have pretty easy, straightforward Asian hair that I get trimmed and layered by Kelly, and always walk out feeling like a new person. It always feels good to get rid of those old, split ends, but it feels even better when you're in such great company. The products they use here smell wonderful and do well to keep that "freshly cut" look even through the next day. The salon itself is very clean, pleasantly decorated, and staff are always nice.

This business has recently changed owners. The new owners also own several other liquor stores in Nevada County. They don't care if you shop here. They don't care if you find everything you are looking for. Buy your scratchers, buy your booze, buy your tobacco and bounce; they want to get back to texting or talking on the phone. I don't like shopping at a convenience store where you feel you're inconveniencing the clerk. Short of a natural disaster or being a good-old-fashioned glutton for punishment, I won't be giving these folks my business.
