Probably the best coffee shop in the area. Really good coffee roasted on site, available for both a beverage there and to take away. Ambiance is a lot of reused and repaired furniture, which gives the place a ton of character beyond what you get at the corporates.

Good coffee, nice shop unfortunately, the attitude of the front desk blonde woman was poor at best.

Our espresso shots and special mocha were delicious and the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. We will definitely visit again when we're back in the area!

They have stickers here. I bought one, but forgot about it until I started writing this review. I got the sticker for someone else. I'm not a fan of stickers, even when I was a kid. I liked band aids as a kid though, which are kind of like stickers. Band aids gave off the impression that I've been through some tough times, but I persevered. A sticker to me doesn't carry much functional value, it's just a form of expression, which I guess expressing yourself is valuable. I just don't know how to express myself through stickers. I didn't know how to do it as a kid and I don't know how to do it as an adult. I somewhat envy those adults that are able to express themselves through stickers on their laptop, hydro flask, and cars. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'd imagine, as soon as I put a bumper sticker on my car, I'd immediately start to question if this is how I really want to express myself to the world. Honestly, if I had to put a bumper sticker on my car, it'd be "STUDENT DRIVER, PLEASE BE PATIENT". That's how I'd want people to view me. I have a lot of driving experience, but I always consider myself a student of the game, the game of driving. For example, this past weekend I learned that when you're driving somewhere and using Apple maps, you can let other cars know if there is a radar check nearby. When you're in route to your destination, you click on "report an incident" and then click on "speed check". If other cars are using Apple maps, this notifies them to slow down when passing that area. This might be common knowledge, but its very new to me and I'm planning on learning something new this week too, hence the student driver mentality. Anyway, the coffee was really good and unfortunately I lost my sticker from here.

Cozy place, great service & coffee, etc. The establishment could use a makeover, torn flooring which is a tripping hazard , update furniture & paint . Too many customers using wi fiand taking up big tables and staying for hours . Should have a large community table for people with laptops.

I've been buying a custom blend from Caroline's she duplicated for me twenty years ago from a bean sampling from a famous Brussels hotel as a morning coffee. It is equal amounts of Lid Lifter (Columbian light roast and dark roast), Mocha Java, and Sumatra Gayo Mountain. The roaster has become very good at not messing up the excellent raw coffee they buy. Fantastic value and excellent. Try the blend if you want a professional blended morning coffee. It's a smooth coffee with a kick and notes of chocolate, and you can buy it in Grass Valley.

Fabulous coffee! The French roast is the best I've had. It's unfortunately very pricy, so only buy it on occasion. It never seems to get bitter no matter how long it sits in the pot!

It was my favorite coffee shop when I lived up there in GV. They are so nice. They make your coffee with a smile and coffee grounds and a coffee maker, the way its been done since the very beginning. You can sit outside or inside. Plus, you can grab a little snack. Amazing.Parking: Keep looking!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!

Not much food selection. I had a bagel with creme cheese. I asked for a little creme cheese, received dollops of creme cheese.

Once upon a time I worked down the street from Caroline's. It became my go to coffee spot. I have a new office further away, but I do enjoy the days I'm early enough to get a light roast. I love the varieties of coffee they supply. I tend to go for the Mexican and Central American beans. Also, i get compliments on the coffee I serve at home, which of course is from Caroline's. Oooh ooh ooh and I sometimes get to be there when the roasting goes on, and it's the inspiration for a reggae flavored song I'm writing called... yup, "roaster man" stay tuned.
