Brunswick Veterinary clinic is the best! My cat was very ill, and Dr. Williams and her staff were so incredibly caring and kind! Dr. Williams was one of the best vets I've ever met. She truly cares about the animals she treats, as well as their owners. If you are looking for a great place to bring your pets, look no further

There are no words to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Williams and staff at this clinic. After being turned away for an emergency visit at nearly every other veterinarian in town, Brunswick graciously accepted us and we were treated with the best care. All of the staff, from the doctors to the techs, and everyone in between are the most compassionate people. Knowing Kelcea slept on the floor next to my dog overnight touches my heart. The staff brought in their own dogs for (multiple) blood transfusions for my dog. I could say so many nice things about every single person there. They all know us by name now, and we won't take our fur babies anywhere else. Not to mention they are very reasonable with their rates!

I have been taking my two cats to Brunswick since June of this year, and everyone on staff has been absolutely wonderful with making sure they get great care. We started both cats off with a general wellness exam, and I feel it was way more thorough than the exam my two cats normally get on an annual basis at our vet in SF.

Dr. Tarra and all the staff at Brunswick Vet are amazing! We met Dr. Tarra when our sweet basset beagle was gravely ill. I could not have imagined how important they would all become to us, as we went through this difficult process. It was like Dr. Tarra and the staff had known Bentley for all of his 15 years! No matter how busy, or booked she was, she made time for him and all the questions that one asks, when important decisions need to be made. Dr. Tarra was with our family every step of the way, including in our home at the very end. THANK YOU DR. TARRA and STAFF AT BRUNSWICK VET!

This clinic made space in the schedule right away to help my poor dog who got a stick stuck in her mouth (again), was miserable and could not eat. They took care of it very quickly and the staff were super nice. I'm so glad I found this place!!! They were doing covid-safe protocols so did not actually meet the Vet but really appreciate her helping us out. Highly recommend

I think we can all agree that our own pets are like real people to us, and in many respects treat us back with more love than most humans. Our 16 year old doxie was crying, wouldn't eat, tried to stand and would fall down. It was a Friday, and having been to this location before I called them. The person who answered quickly had me on hold, then returned with a couldn't care less attitude. After describing the symptoms again, I was told "we're too busy" today, and "we've already taken other non-appointments".. I got the impression money is what determines how they proceed... Ok, so does that help my dog who is in massive pain, and dying? Is this how you treat patients? I called Sierra Oaks in Penn Valley, and they could see our family pet in about two hours, and we're NICE about it. Our dog had to pass, but if your in an emergency situation, don't waste time calling Brunswick - for your pets sake!

Amazing service! Squeezed us in their busy schedule during the height of lockdowns. Always responsive, friendly and professional! Highly recommended.

Brought our dog in earlier in the month. Curbside pickup of our dog and at no point did the actual doctor come out to the car to talk to us about our dog. All communication was over the phone and that resulted in a poor diagnosis. Not going back.

I spent an hour and a half at an "emergency" vet clinic because I was extremely concerned about my dogs behavior after we had both had a long night. After being told that the emergency clinic couldn't see my dog for another few hours I called my regular vet who couldn't fit me in. I continued to call around until Brunswick said they could fit me in no problem and for cheaper than both the previous people I'd tried to see. After pulling up and calling in they came right out and made sure I felt comfortable leaving my little guy with them. I was beyond grateful when their veterinarian called me with an update only a few hours later. All in all my puppy is doing okay and my peace of mind comes from the professionals at Brunswick Veterinarian Clinic. THANK YOU!

Best vet ever! If you are looking for a vet who truly cares about your animal, look no further. Dr. Terra Williams puts her customers first every time. All of her office staff are amazing! I had taken my cat toy Grass Valley veterinary but, when my cat was having issues breathing the staff was so rude to me and did not care us at all. They did not speak to the vet or try to fit us in. I was in tears worrying about Scruffy. When I called Brunswick Veterinary Clinic they office staff was so nice even though my cat was not one of their patients. They dropped what they were doing to talk to the vet and even though Dr. Williams was full for them day she offered to squeeze her in. I will always be greatfull for them simple fact that she cares about your animal as if it was her own. Thank you to the staff and the Dr. for helping me when my own vet would not.

First of all Dr. Williams saved my dog, who should have died, seven years ago and has kept him in good health ever since. My pup is now 13. Dr. Williams accomplished this by taking alot of her own time and researching his condition to find the answer. Plus she is so loving to pets and parents. Yesterday Samson has his teeth cleaned at Brunswick and the entire staff start to finish was amazing. If you are looking for an extraordinary place to have your pet cared for this is it! Thanks all. Pam (I am adding to my review because I just some other folks reviews.) First, Dr. Williams just recently bought the practice and during the transition there were other staff members and transitional vets. The practice now is all Dr. Williams and the staff she trainned and you will have a great experience there. Dr. Williams was one of the most gifted vets every to come out of UC Davis and at Loomis Basin where she practiced for many years. She is AWESOME and now she has a well trained staff. If you have a bad experience let her know. She will make it right. And no I am not a relative or a friend I am just a pet owner that knows great when I see it. Blessings all. Pam

I am very unhappy with my first and only experience with this vet. The only reason I gave an extra star is because when you should up, the girls who come outside are atleast polite. 1) every single time you call they put you on hold. I watched them from my car put me on hold and continue talking amongst themselves. Also another time I called I was put on hold for so long that I drove all the way there before I was answered again. 2) they did and ultrasound on my dog without telling me about it or how much it would cost first. 3) the prescriptions they sell are ridiculously expensive. $70 for a 2 week prescription of amoxicillin which would normally cost you around $40 at most other vets.

I took my Dog here for an initial appointment and heart worm pills, which went well. They would not take my dog without records. I provided her records. A couple of months later we moved out of State and requested my records. They informed me that by law, they did not have to keep records. Apparently, they threw away 6 years of my dog records. The person I spoke with was patronizing, not apologetic, and did not provide good customer service.

Tarra Williams was our regular vet at Loomis Basin for years and our dog Mia always got great care from her. But the round trip drive for an appointment was 90 minutes. Boy, did we consider ourselves lucky when Dr. Williams moved her practice to Brunswick Veterinary Clinic in Grass Valley. We, of course, followed her to her new practice (a 5 minute drive from our house). This happened just about the time Mia was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Dr. Williams took such wonderful care of Mia (and us) the next several months until Mia's death. I can't recommend Dr. Williams highly enough. Smart and kind. Exactly what you want and need. And her prices are very reasonable. I'll miss working with her.

We loved the old staff at Brunswick and were sad when they shut down. It's an hour's drive for us but worth it. My dog had a sudden accident on a weekend and they fit me in at the new re-opened clinic. It turned out that I had to say good by to her. The staff was so nice, they stayed way past closing time to take care of this with me. We were very grateful. The charges were more than fair. Highly recommend. Last time we went to a different clinic in Georgetown because our dog got bit by a rattler and time was of the essence. They told us to come up, then made us wait, then said we had to go to Loomis because they were closing up for the day. Brunswick had compassion for my dog over their own wishes to close on time.
