No thank you! My ex-husband took OUR dog in to have her dewclaws trimmed. To his knowledge, she was put under anesthesia for this procedure. She came home with a terrible cough. He took her back two weeks later because she had also developed a huge rash and the cough wasn't getting any better. They did imaging on her lungs. The vet is unable to determine if it is bronchitis or cancer. Solution: prescribe antihistamine tablets and cortisol/antifungal cream. Apparently that treats bronchitis and cancer? Who would have thought! She advised that is the best she can do and that we need to go to Loomis Basin, where it will cost several thousand dollars to get an actual diagnosis. I had an appointment scheduled for my other dog and cancelled after this fiasco. Go ahead and check those records Jamie. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! Please note this review has been edited to appease response of the business manager, who is far more concerned with yelp reviews than the actual care and wellbeing of your pet. See below reply response for quality of care: more worried about getting positive yelp reviews than providing quality care for our beloved family members. Jamie, your vet didn't refer us to a specialist. Your vet told us to go to Loomis. Big difference. Own your mistake!! Stop trying to place the blame elsewhere because your quality of care and compassion is severely lacking.

I had to put my 12 year old American bully down a couple weeks ago due to cancer and I took him to Brunswick Vet. Dr. Mikaela was absolutely amazing and talked to my kids and I gracefully throughout the whole process. She was comforting and very patient with my sons and I couldn't have asked for a more professional and sympathetic person to help us through the difficult situation. Thank you to everyone at Brunswick Vet!

Wish I could give 0. My cat had one chance of surviving based on a urine sample and they canceled his test leaving no time to get him retested elsewhere before he died. Also repeatedly got his name and gender wrong. Promised me his triage fee of 300$ would cover testing then as he was being discharged charged another 500$. Awful doesn't begin to describe. Dr. Williams should lose her license.

I hate giving one star reviews but I really am surprised by how the front and back of this hospital has dealt with me over the last year. I started with Brunswick vet in 2014 then moved out of state and now I'm back. My experience with them over the last year has been awful. I won't be bringing my cat here anymore. Dr Williams is not very knowledgeable with HT cats. I never have a straightforward experience there. They proceeded with my cats exam last year even tho they never had all his updated records from when we lived out of state (I gave them all the info to request them and while we lived out of state my cat was diagnosed HT). It felt like such a waste of time. Why would you even want to see him if you haven't gone thru his recent records?? I must have bad luck with them because it's always something. Another time they refused to virtually sign off on a prescription for Chewy and said I could send Chewy a physical copy instead (which would take days) BUT if I used THEIR online service, then it's no problem. I think they're greedy. The final straw for me is a "doctor visit" charge of $44 on my last appointment because the doctor called me for less than 5 minutes to ask a couple questions. I never asked for them to call me. It was a drop off appointment. No doctor necessary. So for the same visit that costs $95-$160 at other vets (yes I called around), this visit cost me $244. You have lost a patient and I have lost my patience.

Dr. Williams is one of the kindest and most selfless veterinarians out there. I have been taking my dogs to her for almost 15 years. She is extremely knowledgeable. Her main concerns are for the well being of the animals that she cares for. I would highly recommend her and her staff.

Listened to what I needed instead of trying to sell me a bill of goods. Very impressed with the love and care the entire staff have given to my pet. Have returned several times and will continue to use their services.

Love this Vet! I have gotten appointments at the last minute and they always go way beyond the call of duty to help with our three dogs. I have tried three of more other vets and always come back to BBVC. I have no qualms about giving them the highest reviews! Love you guys.

I moved to Grass Valley 3 years ago. I was nervous to find a great Veterinarian for my Bull Terriers. I shouldn't have because once I met Dr. Tara, I knew I found a great Veterinarian. I totally trust her with my dogs and trust her expertise and judgement. One of my puppies had an issue this year that required extensive surgery. and needed that surgery quickly. Dr. Tara did an excellent job in the surgery and explained everything to me. She did a lot of explaining because my head was spinning. Dr. Tara is very well versed in the field of veterinary medicine, she's kind and patient and her staff is top notch. I recommend Brunswick Vet Clinic to anyone who is looking for top notch, quality veterinarian service. you won't be disappointed

Dr. Williams took care of my old beagle Vinnie for years! He got really sick and they helped keep him as comfortable as possible. They even came to my house to put him to sleep. They also took care of my cat when he became sick after the death of my dog. Dr. Williams is so compassionate and truly cares for her patients and provides gold standard care. The techs are great as well!

Dr. Williams and the staff at Brunswick are fantastic! We found them about two years ago and have had nothing but consistent, reliable service. They clearly are very experienced, compassionate, and thorough!

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. I would recommend this wonderful place to all of my friends and family. Dr. Williams helped me so much with my old kitty, she gave the best care to me and my kitty. Kelsea, one of the vet techs is also the sweetest person and is very helpful and explains everything perfectly and made my kitty feel very safe. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!

07/12/23 We have brought our pets to Dr. Tarra Williams since 2011. As far as my husband and I are concerned we have always been pleased with the care, and compassion that she has for all her patients. She goes over and beyond to care for our little guy as she does with other pets. Dr Williams always stays in touch with the progress for whatever treatment is needed and calls to check on our little guy. Dr Williams is the best!!! Could not ask for better. Entire staff are also willing to take extra care for patients needs. P.H.

Took our new puppy here for first shots. Vet gave us such a bad feel and immediately said our dog was a bad dog forever. He is shy around new people but loves everyone. Worst vet experience I've ever had. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Called 4 times and got 4 non-answers on scheduling an appointment. New owners service and staff is the worst I've seen in 24 years with this veterinry clinic. Customer service is terrible and they want you to drop off and pickup your pet now. Was recently canceled as a client because the DVM did not want to deal with my request for precription pet food that the clinic originally perscribed. Clinic is more interested in making as much money as possible from clients than caring about your pet's well-being. Would not recommend this clinic at all.
