I'd give negative stars if I could. For me, it all comes down to this. I called, on a weekday morning, after having wrestled with the decision of needing to put my 15 year old dog to sleep. I was told, under no uncertain terms, without even an "I'm sorry" that they couldn't see her, unless I PAID THEM MORE FOR AN EMERGENCY VISIT. Unless I wanted to do that, they would not get her in for 4 days. (it was a Thursday morning I called. ). very unfeeling, no offer of any solutions. I ended up having Goodbye at Home come help us, thankfully. I'd been not thrilled with BG, but this last interaction really takes the cake. They will never see my family again

Over the weekend our dear elderly cat became very ill. We took him to an Auburn vet and they prescribed antibiotics. By Monday it was clear they were not working so I called the vet we used for years (Best Friends). The front desk told us we would have to drop him off, they didn't check with the Dr., just put up a wall. So we called Brighton Greens. At first they said there would be a $140 emergency charge and we were fine with that, but after checking they found a cancellation and got us in within two hours. After consulting with the vet we decided it was time to give our kitty relief. We were able to to be with him. It seems we may have found our new vet.

Great ppl and very caring loving professionals. They had to put my dog down and it was overwhelming. They were superb if u can be in that situation. They also care for my other dog and the care and concern is wonderful. I think it might be a lil more expensive than a couple others, but the professionalism and knowledge is outstanding.

We can thank Brighton Greens for saving our cat Smokey. unknown to us, he ate a basket full of easter grass. We have no idea why but by the time we noticed he was losing weight he was very close to dying. Brighton Greens did a very touchy stomach surgery and kept him under observation for nearly a week. He had to be fed through a feeding tube in his neck. They taught us the procedure so he could come home. In a few more weeks he was running around causing more trouble than before. We won't be going anywhere else. Thank you Brighton Greens staff for being there for us and being so kind and understanding. Sharon and Chuck Patterson

Over the past year veterinary care for our two dogs has stored at Brighton greens. We recently got them heartworm shots that were 50% higher than six months ago. For instance we just paid $90 plus technicians fee for each dog. since we were flabbergasted we came home and called another vet here in town and that vet said that the same shot would be $55. So just be aware the Brighton greens appears to be a high cost provider and you may wanna check around on prices before you commit to them.

Do not recommend this veterinarian. I was told to use this Vet. From Sammie & friends animal shelter. To have the dog we recused heart worm test. There attitude was very unprofessional.

Excellent vet and process for an appointment and on- time care. We brought vet records from Los Angeles with our son's dog 1st visit. Winnie Cooper had an on-site heart worm test (blood draw) with immediate test results available, obtained heart worm preventive medication and had Winnie's anal glands cleaned. Very clean facility, great staff, highly trained vets who are there to answer your concerns, give clear advice and help both the pet and the owner. Charges for each service are thoroughly explained.

I think they are good vets here but in the last year I have always had to wait 20-40 minutes each time I arrive. I often have to remind them that I'm still waiting as they have fully forgotten about me. I have also been incorrectly billed more than once. Again I think they do good medicine but their front office service and scheduling is challenging. I know they have emergencies that push scheduling back but this has happened every time I am here. The front office people are rushing around and working hard - I just hope they can get more support and organization.

We are new to this office and have been so happy here! Can't say enough good things about them. We take our shitzu to Dr. Murphy and our pet rat to Dr. Janeway. They have both been amazing. Our shitzu started seizure medication and I can't tell you the number of times Dr. Murphy called me at the end of the day when he was having trouble getting adjusted to the medication. The office staff are incredibly helpful, and everyone here is so nice. Highly recommend!

The doctors and nurses are by far the best in Grass Valley! We were new to town and tried many different vets before we stumbled upon Brighton. We took our puppy for a few minor things, and they were great, but when he got sick, they were even BETTER. They told us to take him to the ER if he got worse over Sunday, so we did. In Loomis, they told us he was too sick and just put him down, or it would be $4,500-$5,500 to fix him. We opted to take him home and wait out the night. The next day we took him to Brighton first thing in the morning, and they fixed him for $600. It has been one month, and he is happy and healthy. These ladies know what they are doing!

Brighton Greens Veterinary Hospital, Doctor Robyn Janeway. Our senior aged dog was having some potentially life-threatening issues on New Year's eve day. We called the office, and they were super helpful, and got us right in shortly before closing. I was preparing that this could be the end. All of the vet techs and Dr. Janeway were very kind and wonderful to work with.. The fees were fair the level of care was excellent. The following day, New Year's Day, Dr. Jayneway, personally called to to see how our dog was doing! She genuinely seemed concerned. As a matter of note, everything from diagnosis, procedures and medications has led to a full recovery. Thank you!!!

Their vets and staff are very caring and helpful and we give our heartfelt thanks again to Dr. Janeway especially for her postivie care of Maggie, our 9 yr. lab who is a constant companion to us seniors, when she went thru cancer treatment early this year. She is still our healthy and happy therapy dog thankfully and enjoys all the girls there when she comes for appmts. and stayovers! Sincerely, Mary and Dave Franc
