The first day moving to Grass Valley, our big dog was stressed from moving and got so worked up that her throat started closing. They took care of her immediately and had her back to rights and happy. This was during covid, and they weren't taking new patients and were short staffed, and still made time for us. They had to slightly sedate her and keep her at their feet while doing surgery to keep an eye on her.
We've used them ever since and trust their every decision! Our pets are happy and healthy thanks to Best friends!

My vet retired a few years back, and this was the first and only veterinarian to accept my dog as a new patient. And they have been nothing but terrible and rude to me and my dog. Every. single. Appointment. After the last appointment, I finally got a new vet to accept my dog, so I never have to deal with these retched people again.

I have been to many veterinary's in my life and I am old , Doctor Richard Jackson is hands down the angel of veterinary doctors, the care he shows is great and he made me feel comforted when I had to send my angel to heaven . I highly recommend him. Sherrie jones

We've been with them for years with several of our dogs. But this last time in an emergency, we thought we were going to have to make the tough decision to put our little girl down. They came through figuring out what was wrong and, by the end of the day, saved her life. She's doing great and we can't thank the entire staff for everything they did.

Rich Jackson is fantastic! First time seeing him and he'll be our guy going forward. Our cat was calm with him and I liked the time he took to explain what he was finding as he examined her.
