after over 10 yrs banking at this location and hundreds of digital check deposits they absolutely refused one digital deposit for size despite it being from repeat client. Ended my relationship with them per a letter they sent giving me three days notice to collect my funds and close my account-they did not appreciate my persistence and complaints. Horrible experience.

Worse bank to put your money in, if you have any problems with your account they won't help at all, I filed a dispute they won't even send me a letter explaining why they denied or even ask me for any proof or documentation that I had to support my dispute

Today I dropped by Banner Bank to see if I could exchange a torn $20 bill I received from their ATM last week. They asked me if I had and account. I said no, I just did a withdrawal. They asked for a receipt. Who keeps those? So they turned me down, even tho the $20 was from their ATM. I asked them where I could exchange it and they said I should go to my own bank. There isn’t one in Grass Valley, that’s why I had to use Banner Banks ATM. SUCH A PETTY AND UNCARING POLICY. I went to SPD market afterwards and they gladly took the $20 and even taped it back together for me. So bottom line, SPD solved a problem for me created by Banner Bank.

I have been banking here for years,The community has noticed the very high turnover rate between management and multiple employees, I am in there several times a week doing my deposits for my business, this last week I was there waiting in line overhearing the new manager speak with a possible client over the phone she was very condescending and disrespectful talking down to whom ever was on the other end .It is concerning, I’m very familiar with kelsey the last employee there she’s a jewel wonderful customer care most likely not recognized for her hard work and dedication. What is going on? This is a reflection of management.I’m a successful business owner and quite worried.

fabulous customer service right when you enter the door they acknowledge you wherever they may be,They are down to literally two employees and working their tails off great job both of you I go in there twice a week to make my deposits they care they acknowledge they welcome and they try, that’s what makes a fabulous employee good job you two Matt and Kelsey you rock!

As a business owner the standards for my products are high and I expect the same from the businesses I work with. Let me start by saying my 1st career was in the banking industry for 20 years. I worked my way up from a teller position into management. Customer service is #1 in my book of standards and we didn't receive that with Banner Bank. We opened our first account last year no problems at all. Last week we went to open a second business account and got nothing but a run around. Because of our current relationship with the bank we were told they would open they account ahead of time and we could bring documentation needed with us. Then we needed the paperwork according to a second person. We would have to to wait. The gentleman waited until 4:50 PM on a Friday before letting us know we would have to wait until Monday now. Upon hearing this we said we would be pulling our business and we were told what ever.

I had a feeling from the day I opened my account at Banner Bank in Grass Valley, CA, that I probably wouldn't be a customer for long. Not only did it take longer to open my account than it did to purchase my new vehicle from a dealer (no exaggeration. It took four and a half hours to open my account). Then, they wouldn't let me use the restroom, which I wouldn't have had to use if my acct had been opened in a decent amount of time. I am disabled and walk with a cane I had to walk to (and through) a department store, then back to the bank. The person assisting me also forgot to order my checks. Since that day, I have NEVER been able to go into Banner Band without it taking a MINIMUM OF 20 minute! There was no line, it takes their tellers that long to process a transaction. Yesterday I was depositing a check (part to savings and part to checking) and receiving cash back. After I was in the bank for 25 minute, my man came in looking for me. It took 30 minutes, standing with my cane, at the tellers window the entire time. Today I called to speak with the manager of the Grass Valley branch. He/she was out of the office so I spoke with the assistant manager who told me: "Well, we want you to be happy so I suggest you bank elsewhere, and my manager will agree with me". I replied: "Are you telling me that Banner Bank thinks that 20 - 30 minutes is an acceptable amount of time to process a transaction" to which she again said: "What I am saying is that you should find another place to bank." there's even more to the story but I think you get it... I cannot believe that I was made to feel bad and wrong for making the call. I'd like to think that most people would find this practice unacceptable as well.

I recently opened an account at Banner Bank with Nathan Mcnamar and got just the right account for my business. No monthly fees! I'm totally delighted to be working with Banner Bank. They are very courteous, kind and competent. Yay!

Caveat, the people at my branch are excellent. Better yet, since the bank's management sucks So Bad there's rarely a line. For all general purposes, Banner is truly one of the worst banks imaginable. They don't give a damn about you or your small business. They won't be open at any convenient hours, or weekends. They provide ZERO 24/7 service on anything. You can do a Stop Payment online but it will "Fail" since they guarantee it they make it clear they won't give a damn if it gets done. You will not get any kind of confirmation on you placing the hold or stop. F**&^ you. is the Banner way.
