Worst service ever, workers are super hostile when you ask questions about your firearm, I took in my benelli nova for a missing retaining pin & ejector and was told it would be no longer then 3week, a month later, I called for a updated and was told to give them abt 2 to 3 more weeks, waited for the call and another month later called once again and was meet with the worse of attitudes and was told to come pick up my shotgun and try to do it my self bc my parts where not findable now days. NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE you are better doing it ur self trust me

I have known Jerry for over 40 years: J & G is what your neighborhood Gun Store should be. These guys are the Pro’s: Having done business with every gun store in Northern and Central California, they are the best full service, reputable, and most knowledgeable……,I give them ****** stars!

I had to sell some old rifles and a shotgun left by my father and grandfather, non of them in very good condition. The guys at J&G were straight on their estimates and gave me fair prices. I have a background in firearms so felt they went a bit above. I definitely would return for purchases.

I’ve purchased 3 firearms from this shop, consigned two, and have always had a great experience. The guys are cool, answer any questions you have, and the store carries a lot of cool antique firearms.

Had a fire in my garage and while my guns appeared ok, I wanted a gunsmith to check them out. I was told it would be 6-9 weeks but they finished quickly (1-2) and the work was extremely good!

Called during the business hours, nobody picked up. Drove by, saw they were closed. They need to update their hours so people don’t waste time.

I had a scope that needed to be removed and another mounted as I could not get the mount screws out without stripping them. They took me in right and about a half an hour later they called and told me the gun was ready. It was the best $35.00 I have spent in a long time. I highly recommend this business.

I had a very good experience at J & G. I have been searching for a place to restore my old field rifle. I wanted to find an experienced craftsman (or woman) that has been doing this forever and I was ok with it taking 3-6 months to so.After all you can't rush quality. When I first pulled up to the shop I was surprised. It's out in the middle of a county road in between housing plots and the building was very unassuming. I stepped in and they have a lot of selection if you're in the market for a new firearm.I spoke with Mike and the quote I received was very fair and the lead time was about what I expected.I came back about 3 months later and the rifle was restored amazingly! However my only gripe was that I ordered a muzzle brake to be added to the rifle and they didn't install it. It wouldn't be a big deal if I lived in the area but I live in the bay area and drove to Rocklin (outer Sacramento area) to pick it up. Oh well. The work was done very well and I got a master craftsman to resolve my rifle issues for a very reasonable price.Lesson learned here is confirm all the details and after you've all agreed to the scope of work, then confirm again. In the end, I would definitely do business with them again.
