For years my wife has suffered looking at the fake stained veneer plywood planks/cinder block solution for an "end table" that fits perfectly behind the couch but in front of our window. When looking for a commercially made furniture solution nothing worked. Too high, too low, too long, wrong color to match our other furniture.I gave up on everything finding a solution until I came across Bruno with Altech Design from a friend recommendation. Very responsive and professional — he listened to what we liked and offered creative solutions to make it even better. Final product? Outstanding! Highly recommend for any custom furniture & cabinetry.

Bruno did a fantastic job updating a built-in media center. He definitely takes pride in his craftsmanship and the quality shows. He also seems to be very selective of any subcontractors used. He managed to complete our project to meet a rush deadline. Bruno is very personable and we would absolutely use him again.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! Bruno went above and beyond and took care of us quicker than anyone in the greater Sac area could. We were in a bind when doing our refinance. We had one day to turn in an inspection report or our loan would die. I got lucky when I found Bruno's company on Yelp. He literally saved our hides. He came out SAME DAY after business hours and did a thorough and professional inspection. He is knowledgable, honest, and a good human being. Much respect.

I saw a beautiful chicken coop (not your ordinary coop) that Bruno had designed at a horse boarding stable and loved it. So I asked who the contractor was and was given Bruno Peter's name/Altech design. So I contacted Bruno back in 2011 to build one for me. I was so impressed by his creativity, his artistic ability,skill and professionalism that I was very sad that I didn't know of him sooner. He could have done my house remodel and I know that it would have been fantastic. Bruno is so creative and really has an artists eye. He also is very professional. I recently contacted him for another project but unfortunately he is so busy he couldn't do it but he was nice and professional enought to get RIGHT back to me and give me a referral to someone else. I can't recommend Bruno enough. 5 stars isn't enough!!!

My husband and I moved to Granite Bay last summer into a home that was built in the 1980s. It was in need of a major kitchen remodel and general facelift. From start to finish, Bruno Peters/Altech Design was wonderful to work with. He worked with us to design our desired open floor plan, which included some tricky structural engineering. He's an amazing designer and craftsman. Although Bruno does most of the work himself, I must say that every single one of the subcontractors he brought in were top-notch. And contractors he referred us to for other things we needed (painting, gate, fireplace) were also great. We are hugely satisfied with the results. We love our new kitchen/great room and are very thankful we found Bruno to do the work. He has become a dear friend now, and we can not recommend him more highly.

My husband and I relocated to Granite Bay 3 years ago. We had a list of remodel projects and were referred to Bruno Peters at Altech Design. Well, we are finishing up our fourth project and are beyond happy with the results, overall experience and budget. Garage - Bruno brought in a framing crew, built us an amazing barn door using replica Vermont barn door hardware. Looks like a carriage house. Kitchen Remodel - We didn't want to do a total tear down, so we talked about what was possible. Bruno sketched out the concepts, we adjusted and ended up with a super open format kitchen. He provided great solutions. For example, we didn't want a hood over the gas stove top. Bruno designed and built a down draft that the kitchen supply store said was impossible. We call it Darth Vador. One button push, up it comes and works like a champ. Very cool. Bathroom - The master bathroom was very sad. We now have a new bathroom that looks like a soothing sauna. Once again we asked for some different things - curbless shower, combination of tile patterns and a big French sink. Oh, and little to no grout so cleaning would be super easy. No problem, done. Fireplace - Almost done with this project. Lovely. We designed it together and Bruno built it. All I can say is if you want someone who has a good eye for design, is meticulous with work (including clean up everyday), charges fairly and is really nice to have at your house a lot, talk to Bruno. We are very happy.

After interviewing a number of contractors I decided on Bruno to fix an archway that once had a wall/cubby attached to it... it is a central part of the home and if this looked horrible there would be no way to hide it. Bruno did an excellent job, showed up on time, presented an accurate estimate, and made the archway look like there was never anything attached to it. His number is stored in my phone and I will be calling him for my bathroom remodel!
