Deckers is a store that carries several brands of outdoor shoes and clothing. I've shopped there twice for Hoka shoes. They have a wide selection on hand and will order anything that isn't in stock, and delivery is quick. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Love me some Hokas! So versatile for all my outdoor adventures. Kylah was really helpful when looking for a shoe I could trail run in, and also use for running around the neighborhood. Great guidance and friendly. ??

Just another pack of pieces of garbage from San Diego boycott and Sue these morons. Don't bring your money to any property managed by Hayes group. Fairview center or Ralph's on holloster.

Warehouse sale today was an absolute joke. The merchandise was okay (most of it very ugly and unsellable) and people probably would have been more inclined to finish off the stock if the prices weren’t ABSURD. $80 for hokas is not a warehouse sale price. I can get them for $100 in an actually desirable color as they often go on sale. $30 for SLIPPERS is also absurd and basically retail price. The ugliest most neon colored slippers that look like genuine furry costume shoes for $30 is a crime. And the most hideous neon tote bags were priced at a whopping $40 instead of the $5 that they should have been. What happened to actual warehouse pricing? What’s with the retail greed? They would sell so much more if they priced things at their true values.I will not be bothering with Deckers brand warehouse “sales” in the future. What a waste of time!

Came from out of town to visit deckers brand showcase, as we were intrigued by the amount of selection they would have.First of all, customer service was NOT THERE. We were not greeted when we walked in, no one asked me and my fiance if we needed help, and when we did ask for help they seemed annoyed??I also did not feel welcomed... it was such an off vibe. When walking out, the worker Just STARED and didn't acknowledge us for coming in. So we just left.. and left empty handed.

We were greeted near the door and offered help. After a few questions by the salesperson my husband was shown Hokas that would be best. He tried on 4 pairs and picked the ones he wanted. Great service. Good selection. He wanted plain neutral colors, not what Hoka is known for. Value will be determined by future use.

I have been here at least 3x and the staff here is always less than helpful. I have had to request multiple times for someone to help me each time I've been there (have purchased at least one item every time). The sale associates all stand behind the counter and don't greet clients as they're walking in (something you'd expect from a store like this). They all stare and talk to each other and ignore clients. If you're planning to attend - they do have a great selection but don't expect much from the staff.I do have to add that the male associate who helped me was helpful and attended to all my requests.

I am writing a new review just for the fact that my husband and I have the best experience today!!! We were greeted immediately and ask what can I help you with!!! Sam and Sheila help both of us with kindness, patience and also being super fast bringing us several different shoe's!!! There seems to be a new management and this store has absolutely improved the customer service!!!! Thank you Deckers for the superb team that is working at this beautiful store!!!! We will definitely be back for more Hoka shoe's!!!

The one star reviews for this store is not an accident and actually totally appropriate and not a hyperbole of any measure. Avoid this store as the black plague.I have worn Asics, Patagonia, Mizuno's and Brooks and love them for trail and city running. My friends in the running group swear by the comfort of their Hoka's and thus I decided on taking a chance on them. As I was visiting my folks for the 4th and they were in the market for new pair of shoes, I decided to take them to the flagship store in SB to have them fitted. The comfort of the shoes is where the good experience ends. This store is a travesty to any customer service whatsoever. The store employee's demeanor and willingness to assist with any queries is a stark contrast to any professional establishment such as REI or foot locker. Despite explaining what was needed (comfortable shoes with ample cushion for long standing due to teaching classes at the university), they offered no suggestions. We thus asked them to provide us with their lightest and softest shoes so that we could do the assessment ourselves as they are incompetent or simply unwilling. Also a fair amount of coaxing and cajoling was required to get them to bring a foot measurement device for actual feet measurements and taking rational approach to finding the right pair. I was shocked on how sub-far an infuriating this experience was especially when compared against my experience at REI while getting my Hiking gear from Merrel.Furthermore, while inquiring about return policies, we were told there is no return policy on worn shoes. Inquiring further, I learnt that there is a return policy on poor manufacturing but that will be assessed and the shoes can only be returned with the physical copy of the receipt. With all the hassles of this store, if I do buy another pair of Hoka it will be through Amazon and certainly not at the SB store. If you do come to the store due to Hoka brand loyalty, just come here to see what style you like and buy your Hoka's elsewhere where customer service and assistance means something. From my perspective and this rather sour experience, I will continue being a patron of Mizuno's and Brooks which are equally comfortable, have excellent products and are sold at stores with tangible customer service.
