I am also an automotive tech of 20+ years. The business where I work does not have AC equipment. There are some jobs I/we just can’t do. So I also bring our businesses fleet to him.

Last year I had an AC line pop on the way to Lake Havasu in July. My Fiancé was less than impressed with me.
Since my suburban is 20 years old this year, I had Mike put nearly everything into it. “Replace everything you think is at all sus” Blank check kind of thing.

Yes, this was an expensive job. However, on the the way out to Havasu, and more importantly, the way home this year, I probably would have paid double.
You see this year was my bachelor party. There were five, 200lbs dudes in there, in 104-112 degree weather.
My best man made me turn the AC down. Thought I was trying to kill him in “that icebox”.

So is Mike the cheapest in town? No. But you don’t want the cheapest of anything. He is a great tech that stands behind his work. I had tried everything to get the used Mercedes I stupidly picked up from a shiesty swindler near Pioneertown who didn’t tell me various things about it ; I couldn’t get it to pass smog so I could register it and “EVEN PUT LICENSE PLATES ON IT” …. These guys are top notch and I don’t think I’ve ever met a group of guys with so much integrity and trustworthiness before. That’s not easy to find when it comes to mechanics.
