Very honest shop. I was referred by a friend when I needed some work done on my car and didnt want to have to pay a fortune for it. Prices are very reasonable and the first thing he did when I came to pick my car up was show me the old parts that needed to be replaced and what was wrong with them. Being a woman I VERY much appreciated this being that women seem to get ripped off a lot more due to the fact that many of us don't know a lot about engines/car problems. That made me trust this shop just that much more. He also told me that a certain thing wasn't imperative that a different shop owner was trying to get me to do and telling me I REALLY needed to get it done. I feel so much better knowing I have a trustworthy place to take my car that won't break the bank. Thanks guys!

Joe at The Shop did a fantastic job of restoring braking to my custom braking for may 68 Cougar. Thirty years ago I changed out my front drum brakes for disc brakes - that required new steel braided brake lines, new power booster, and master cylinder. Flash forward to today I installed a new front disc brake kit and barely had brake pressure. I knew it wasn't the kit and guess the fix would be complicated. It was. Other local shops did not want to deal with my custom system. Joe took on the project. He found one rear drum was too wide, the hose over the rear end had nearly collapsed, he replaced the master cylinder, power booster, proportioning valve, and replaced all of the steel braided line with standard brake tubing. And the cost, his labor was not even double the parts cost...

Joe was great. I took my 1952 Model 62 Cadillac into his shop after another mechanic had let the car sit in his yard for over a year. The car hadn't been running for at least 12 years. Joe brought the car back to life, and it didn't cost a fortune. We didn't get into restoration work, but he did everything necessary to have the car run safely so I could sell it. He was honest, knowledgeable, and reasonable. I highly recommend Joe.Services: Battery

Joe is by far the best mechanic I've ever been to. He does great work, is honest and will only do work that is necessary. He also charges for parts at cost and is always looking for ways to save the you money when possible. For example, when my F250 needed a new transmission, he was able to find one used one that saved me many hundreds of dollars. I have been taking my vehicles there for almost ten years now and Joe has always exceeded my expectations.

Wow this place is freaking amazing. I had a huge crack in my windshield and it needed to be replaced. I called half a dozen shops and safe life repair to get quotes which ranged in price from 300-500 the. I called this place and to my surprise they quoted me at 233 with tax. Obviously I chose them. Came into the place, they told me to park and 30 minutes later I had a new windshield. They were, quick, friendly, and extremely efficient. I don't know about their other services but if you need a new windshield save yourself the trouble and bring it to The Shop they'll hook you up. The place is at the very end of Kellogg Ave just keep driving and go through the gate at the end of the road. Google maps won't take you directly there. If I could give them more stars I would 10/10 recommend.
