Fantastic customer service, but extremely disappointing products. The spray bottle stopped working after the first use, and the pumice stone ruined a toilet even though the packaging insisted it was safe. Staff was very friendly and helped me find everything I needed though, so it gets at least one extra star.

This is called a hardware store but they have a large clothing section and other items you wouldn't expect from a hardware store. Large selection of tools of course but they also make custom paints. I even got a color painting kit for the grandkids. They have grills, outdoor furniture as well.
They are well staffed and I received help around the store without having to go on a search for an employee.
They even have frozen pies near the checkout.
The check out person was very patient and kind with my elderly father who doesn't hear well and moves slow. He loves this store.

Amazing customer service! Every once in a while, I find myself having to build a custom item. I have an idea what I want to build, but I do not know what materials are available in the store. At other local hardware stores, when asking for help, I have been given some vague hand gesture indicating some direction to some part of the warehouse with the words “Good luck. I hope you find what you’re looking for.” This is not the case at Miner’s Ace Hardware in Goleta. First, Shane listens to me to understand what it is I was trying to build. Secondly, he knows his store inventory and can tell me what building supplies are available. Third, he walks me to the actual item and make sure it is the right size and compatible with the rest of the material I am purchasing. As long as Miner’s Ace Hardware keeps employees like Shane and has the inventory I need. Well, it’s just stupid for me to go anyplace else.

Quick in and out they have everything. Needed a custom cut of plywood and Jordan I believe that’s who helped me was very attentive and had a great attitude and patience with what I needed. Excellent service definitely coming here next time I need anything ?

Easy to find someone to point you in the right direction or to give you practical advice. Not like a big box store where you have to search for indifferent help. It’s always my first choice hardware.

Best place in town to find everything you need for home maintenance, painting, gardening, and more. The staff is very friendly, and they usually have sales on Saturdays at least once a month.
