30+ years using Moss, 20 as a dealer buying for my classic car business and getting noticeably worse every time. Sent wrong parts, but I have to pay shipping to return? Though I can prove I own my home they refuse to ship my business purchases here forcing me to sit around an office I rarely go to for hours on end, no exceptions! None of my vendors across the globe require this! Good news is other suppliers are out there so this will be good for them! Hope they can return to the quality of service they used to have but until then I'll now keep Moss as the last option..

Spent roughly $250 for parts. They came but when I opened the box, not a single part was correct in my order. I called Moss up to ask about and they said to fill out the return forms and ship back everything. Except I have to pay for shipping to return their fuxk-up, who does that? Punish the customer for the seller's mistake.

Jason made things simple. Excellent customer service agent. I wish more companies followed his lead.....Moss Motors, great company, Jason, makes Moss Motors an even better company.

This company sucks no customer service, they are not interested in helping you they only want to sell their products, after months of going back and forth they couldn't even identify Whitworth hardware with a tap and die, (I sent as samples from an MG midget which is common as dirt)700 dollar order minimum for free shipping etc I could go on forever, every transaction/interaction leaves you dissapointed they have a strangle hold on the mg community aftermarket as a whole yet dissapoint us all. A monopoly and a manipulative company that wants to sells kits not help with individual parts or tech follow up when their product is wrong or fails

One would think that answering a phone could result in an order. Of course one would have to answer their phones for that to happen. On hold for 10 min 46 sec. Then transferred and hung up. On hold 22 + min. Absolutely absurd!

It’s great to order from a business with a customer service line if something goes wrong. A part was too big for the box, poked out during shipping and got bent. I called the customer service line and they promptly sent a replacement same day after seeing pictures.

I just ordered 2 foam seat cushions for my mga. I was ok with the price and most of the shipping cost but they said they need to add 10.00 each times 2 when I received the carton it was 10" by 18 by 18. I asked the ups driver if ups considers this an oversized carton. They said it is not. Also now that they purchased Victoria British their prices went sky high.

Dismissive and off-putting phone experience.My 72 year old Father has been buying parts from Moss for decades. We even toured the warehouse before my wedding in Santa Barbara because it was that important to him. We phoned today to seek some guidance on a MG related but California specific question. We were told that they might be able to help and then abruptly "we are a parts only company". So much for trying to reach out to another car enthused. The vehicle is mine now and I will NEVER purchase from Moss.

Moss motors is great to order something, but make sure you get it right, because their after service is terrible. Talking to a phone rep, it’s obvious that they don’t care whether you’re a happy customer or not!! It’s not the kind of service that helped them originally build the business! And now, it’s good that there are alternatives!

I have used Moss for several years to purchase parts for customer vehicles. I was very surprised to see low stars online. I have always been happy with the service and parts I have received. I hope my positive review will counter a negative one.

I have ordered from this company for years and own several British cars so I spend a LOT of money with them. Recently I bought an interior kit for a vintage car which was made by a local company. When I opened the box, all was fine except the carpet for the boot (trunk) was for a different model car. No big deal, so I thought. After several calls and emails and promises someone would get back to me - nothing. I offered to drive the wrong part to the company that made it to exchange it. Still no response. After promises someone would call me back but haven't, I have no choice but to file a small claims case. Now I'll find a new company to buy parts from. Too bad, I liked them. Don't buy if you expect any kind of customer service.

Called simply to ask if I was able to pick up an order instead of waiting for shipping. Last website update regarding in-person pickup was from January 2021 so I think it’s a pretty fair question. The woman who answered the phone was sooo rude and short, I wasn’t ready for it!

I worked for Moss in 1980 running thier computers on the graveyard shift I only mentioned it because I really enjoyed working for them, then I moved back to Alaska.
