“Work sends me to SB a few times a year, so I've stayed at several Marriott places around town. This has got to be my favorite place I've stayed. The rooms are very nice. I love looking out of my window to the courtyard, which usually has folks put enjoying it. It gives a good vibe. The staff is very friendly too.

If you are a business traveler like me, closeness to the airport is a positive. Rooms get zero noise from planes making for a great night's sleep.

Because SB is a smaller town, travel time to downtown SB is about 15 min. I prefer to take an Uber. Over all, close enough for fun & work, but just far enough that you can get some solid rest.

Breakfast is solid. Some properties after COVID continued to phone it in with reheatable sandwiches. Here you can count on at least eggs and some sort of meat. As long as I get eggs & oatmeal I'm generally happy.

All around a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this to the business traveler or small family.”

“Spent two nights here for a work trip. Rooms are nice and the outdoor area is so pretty. I wish I could’ve spent more time here. Would definitely return. Friendly staff and the on-site coffee shop was super helpful.”

“The property is very lush - the pool area is large and there were many outdoor areas for lounging (playing ping pong) and having the complimentary breakfast outside.
It was a lovely feeling - what you would expect for the Santa Barbara area.”

“Nice hotel. It's got the same amenities as many others, but better, especially when it comes to the free breakfast. The breakfast fruit is good and the oatmeal is made right and not soupy like many others, and the coffee isn't bad either, while I usually find hotel coffee burnt and undrinkable. Also I appreciate that the windows open enough to let in the breeze.”

“Came here to stay here for 1 night because I had to do my son orientation at UCSB. Lcation is great, it's about 10 minutes away from campus, not much to say about the room other than it's a bit outdated, just wished they had a usb plug on their outlets. They gave me the room closest to the street so it was a bit noisy, luckily I took my wax pillows ear plugs and was able to sleep for the night.

Rooms: Has what you need if you are doing a short stay.”
