Stayed 3 nights and the staff was fantastic! Personable, interactions felt genuine. Every time I came back to the hotel I looked forward to interacting with them.

I've stayed at this location a few times and the staff is always very accommodating and welcoming. Garrett helped me out when I needed an additional night but they were sold out. He went above and beyond and made it happen. Highly recommend this hotel based on their customer service alone. Thank you Garrett!

I often visit SB for work and this hotel has become my go to place. It’s close to major highway which connects to rest of SB. And there are lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops nearby, making everything convenient. The rooms are well kept and room service is every other day unless requested otherwise. I like the fairly priced self service food and drinks corner near the entrance, which is usually marked up at other hotels.
Walkability: Walkable distance from many restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, and other shops

Stayed here as I was flying out from SBA on Saturday am. During the week the rooms listed for $200 but $400 on the weekends. Did not appreciate that, but the rooftop bar and music on Friday happy hour was a nice addition after a long week. Left to early for breakfast but the rooms were very nice and the balcony with lounge chairs were nice even if it was a noisy street for a view. Some decent food places across the street.

The Hilton Garden Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta is the perfect location. The hotel is close to the airport and there are plenty of restaurants/shopping near by. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff at check in were absolutely wonderful and helpful. A little bonus is the rooftop restaurant with spectacular views.

A horrific experience. No one was present at the lobby for check in, which meant a wait of 20 minutes. While we were getting our ID and credit card out, they decided to serve another customer, which meant we had to wait more. As we were on a tight schedule, this was completely unacceptable. At night, the hot water stopped due to maintenance without any prior notice. I was stuck in the shower with shampoo in my hair and no response from the staff upon initial requests to explain the situation. They blamed us for taking a shower at 11 PM instead. Only after I threatened to move to another hotel they did reluctantly turn the water back on. Do not come here if you are seeking even the most basic service requirements from a hotel.

I love this hotel, right near UCSB. The best part is they have an amazing restaurant on the rooftop featuring live music, Happy hour, views of the ocean and the mountains. Can’t beat it.

I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to for this one considering the mistreatment I had by the supposed hotel manager at the Hilton Garden Santa Barbara/Goleta. My trip to Santa Barbara from the midwest was affected by the IT outages causing travel plans to be disrupted and ultimately I was unable to make it even to the state of California the night of my hotel reservation. The manager was dismissive of my concerns and greeted me with immediate hostility and adamantly denied any sort of compensation or refund. He accused me of lying about the travel disruption stating that he wasn't aware of anything being affected until 7/19 despite the fact that there is national news of Delta grounding flights out of Atlanta on 7/18. He was dismissive of the fact that I could provide proof of delays, call logs to the hotel that night stating that I wouldn't be able to make it due to travel issues and even went as far as stating "lesson learned". It is incredibly disappointing that personnel working in customer service/hospitality roles treat their customers this way. Needless to say, it was terrible representation by the hotel itself and what the Hilton brand stands for.

Stayed 2 nights in July 2024. Booked 2 rooms. Hilton Gold member.
-requested adjoining rooms when I made reservation, was confirmed to have them prior to arrival, denied at checkin.
-dogs in multiple rooms wailing and barking throughout evening, night, and early mornings. Front desk took no action.
-guests smoking weed and drunk/loud in hallways well past midnight. Front desk took no action.
-carpet in both of the rooms I had were terribly stained.
-housekeeping staff shouting at each other up and down the hallway at 8am on a Sunday. And——vacuuming the hallway.
-there is zero sound dampening between the hallway and room, and zero sound dampening between the room above/below your room.
-front desk didn’t ask how our stay was and was visibility annoyed that I wanted a print copy of my bill upon checkout. Absolutely worthless front desk staff that made no effort to be pleasant or provide basic service.
This is the worst hotel property I have stayed at in the last 20+ years. Try ANY other option. Any effort to remediate or even an apology would have sufficed and I would have withheld writing this review.

Nice hotel! VERY clean, modern, comfortable. The location is amazing. Very close to the freeway and TONS of shopping, food, movie theater, the airport. Just a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Staff was VERY nice and helpful. We had one little problem, but it was more with our upstairs neighbors than the hotel. We don't know if it was kids or adults but they were just walking like ELEPHANTS above us at all hours, back and forth around their room. Early morning and late at night. We called and complained several times and actually used our ironing board to bang on our ceiling to make the idiots above us understand how loud they were. I don't know if the construction of the floors at the hotel are thin and obviously not concrete, but that was really the only unfortunate part of our stay here.

The room is reasonablely clean, but we did find a stain on the sheet, quality control needs to pay attention. We only tried the breakfast, the buffet items looks pretty average, so we opt for the a la cart, pancakes were average, waffle was pretty good. The gym is open 24 hours and is pretty well equipped for a good workout. I would come here again.

My brother and I stayed here for 6 nights.
Pros:
-Clean room, fairly spacious
-Comfortable bed
-Enough power outlets (esp near the beds)
-Small amenities such as microwave and coffee maker were included
-The bathroom mirror had a ring light around it that I liked.
-close to Target, ihop, and 101 freeway
Cons:
-Thin walls, you can hear what the people next door are talking about
-We were offered 4 bottle of waters upon arrival, and didn’t receive any more for the rest of our stay
-Wifi was spotty at times

Visited Goleata, California, and stated here at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was a very easy check-in process, and the staff was very nice and courteous. It took less than 5 mins to get my room.
The lobby was very nice and had plenty of items in the shop to snack on and drinks to bring to your room. The specialty coffee machine was out of order but made due with the black coffee that was made.
My room was on the corner and faced the pool, so it was very nice. The weather was beautiful, so I was able to keep the windows open all night.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I will be back.
Walkability: Walkable to Target and other fast food shops.
