I watched this Chevron get new pumps before fixing their FREE air and water!!!
In a couple of weeks the Fuel Depot right next to it will open, start going there!!

My daughter called me from this station yesterday (January 29th, 2023) crying. She wanted to use apple pay and went inside since it wasn't working from the pump. Apparently, she gave the wrong pump number and the clerk came out and yelled at her. When she came in, he called her 'stupid' and that nobody ever does that. I've seen a few posts about bad service at this station. As a father (and former Chevron employee at corporate), this is unacceptable.

0 stars. I went to the Hollister location for the first time today (1/29) and I will never be going back. Every time I get gas, I pay at the pump and do it myself. Today, I had to go inside because I forgot my debit card and only had Apple Pay. The man at the register asked what pump and I said 7 and I put $75 in. When I go out to pump it, he comes out and said that's not pump 7 and it's pump 8. So I said the wrong # and put gas in the wrong pump (someone was at the one i had put money on). I apologized immediately to the man at the register for making that mistake. I went up to the man at pump 7 (the one I had accidentally put gas in) and told him what happened. He said he already put his card in and he was filling up on gas that he had paid for. I said okay sorry to bother! I thought at that point that it was okay because MY transaction obviously had been cancelled since the man put his card in. I go inside and ask how I can get refunded or how I can switch to the gas pump i'm at. The same man said he's unable to do that and I made a mistake. I got confused because I spent $75 and I knew I would be able to get my money back OR fill up my tank. He then proceeded to call me stupid at least 10 different times. Saying i'm unintelligent and made a very stupid mistake. At that point I didn't know what I did was that big of an issue and I started yelling back. I asked him why he was being so rude and asked him to give me a refund. He said he can't do that right now and basically kept calling me d**** This man was in his late 40s or early 50s. It was at the Hollister location on January 29 around 2pm. I get I made the mistake but there was NO need for him to call me stupid. I'm trying to work something out with chevron for a refund and trying to figure out who that man was. It made me really upset and it wasn't professional.

This location is notorious for price gouging, (it was $4.59 today when it's 4.10 on Fairview) but I was running on empty and needed to stop for a bit of petrol and to use the bathroom. All pumps but 1 were broken, bathroom was out of order, and employee behind the counter was rude an unhelpful. Avoid this gas station unless you'd like to be in a bad mood.

The young Asian guy was such a profound j*** we left and got gas elsewhere. He’s not a good person to have representing your company at all!!!!!! It’s 4:30 on Friday October 8th. I recommend after reading other comments about the individual I had issues with that you fire him immediately. He lost you a $55 sale in gas and an addition $24.50 sale in snacks and drinks. Great service was only a mile away at the Mobil.

Horrible customer service from the young Asian guy. He will give you undeserving ride sarcastic customer service. After simply asking about the redbull buy2 get 1 sale I felt compelled to give him feed bad and let him know KINDLY that his customer service was bad. This was after watching him be rude to the poor girl ahead of me trying to sign up for their reward program. He snapped at me like 4 times and mumbled stuff under his breath while ringing me up I finally was in shock by how uncalled for he was being that I just had to finally let him know how bad his service is. Now that I'm reading these reviews IM CLEARLY NOT THE ONLY PERSON. He needs to be FIRED! No wonder he works at a gas station. Needless to say I called the cops so I can have a report on this incident cause he followed my to my car.

The slowest gas station I have ever been to. I have a 15 gallon Subaru crosstreck that I went to fill up. It took 15 MINUTES?!!?!? I don't recommend if ur in a hurry.

I have rarely had an issue here, and some of the staff recognize me. Prices for gas are high, but that's Goleta for you. Everything Is expensive. Especially the closer to Isla Vista you are. Once you are recognized, staff treats you well.
