This place is great, Jerry went out of his way to help me with my air conditioning problem allowing me to make the repairs and refill and recharge the air conditioning unit so it worked correctly . he was trustful enough to let me come back and forth emptying the system and then refilling the system and it works perfect now thanks again Jerry

I'm here to report that the women's restroom was clean and not scary. The attendant was nice . We bought some drinks and snacks for the road-trip.

Excellent mechanics, the kind that are tough to find these days. Been there twice and was extremely happy both times: straight forward repairs for a fair price. Very happy and plan to continue going to there.

RE: Service for 2014 Subaru on 11/05/21 I travel a great deal (by car), and when my car had trouble while working in Santa Barbara, I had difficulty finding a recommendation for a good repair shop from my friends and co-workers. There is a shop I used to use all the time for the twenty years I lived here, but they were booked and apparently years of being a customer didn't count for anything. Finally someone recommended this Chevron, saying they were competent and honest. I called and spoke to Brian who made an appointment for me to come in; I explained the problem and I noticed he had my hood up and was evaluating my issue before my ride picked me up to go to work (within 10 minutes). Two hours later, Brian called and had fixed the problem. I have a few miles on all of my cars and if I ever have trouble again while In Santa Barbara, this Chevron on Fairview will be my "go-to" stop. Thanks Brian for taking care of a stranger as if they were a long-time customer.

Quickest and most simple smog EVER! We made an appointment for noon today (Friday) for a smog. When I arrived, Brian was ready for us. He told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. I totally didn't believe him, but sure enough he called within 30 minutes and said it was ready for pickup. Will definitely be back for all our future smogging needs.

I saw the sign outside for an Air Conditioning Special $149.99. I asked inside about it and the friendly cashier Luis told me to speak to the mechanics in the bay. I met Brian who answered my questions and got my van right away and set me up immediately, very professional and kind. As I waited I skated around and came back to see how things were going. That's when I met Jerry, who let me know I had a part that would need replacing and that he would beed to start the process again. I expect I would need to pay for the part but he included it with the service, such a generous and genuinely altruistic gentleman. The had my van in and out in under the estimated 45 minute wait time. I paid $148 and change, which is under the estimated 149.99, I though there'd be some hidden something at the end. What I found out was they are a hidden gem, and they are the Air Conditioning Special, not the service as much as the people that made it so. I recommend Fairview Chevron, my air in my 1999 is ice cold again. God bless.

Incredibly honest and ethical! Brian and Jerry helped me w my 2016, Chevy Silverado when the AC went out. Instead of charging me for the AC special, Jerry diagnosed the problem and alerted me to the fact this truck is known for this issue and recommended I go to a dealership instead, due to a potential recall. I appreciate their honesty and assistance! I highly recommend this shop!

Great if your camping. Good number of self service vacuums to clean your cars interior. Also has a car wash.Limited convenience store.
