640 Willard Dr, Folsom“So happy to have found Cadence Prairie City for our family! My son recently started in their Barnyard classroom and I can't tell you how appreciative I am of the teachers in there. They are so helpful at drop off assisting my son and helping him settle in for the day as he struggles with separation anxiety. The love and dedication these teachers have for their students in their care is extremely apparent! I'm so happy we found Cadence for our son! The director and assistant director are so helpful and responsive! Whenever I have any questions or concerns, they're answered or addressed immediately and always in a professional manner. We love Cadence @Prairie City!!!!”

3084 Sunrise Blvd #4, Rancho Cordova“So glad that we found this daycare for our 3 year-old daughter (Junior Pre-school)! The teachers here are so warm, kind and extremely helpful in making sure your child gets well-settled which is reassuring to the parent. All the rooms are hygienic and well-maintained. Kids have fun with the pets(frog, turtle, chicken) and learn through play based activities. I definitely recommend PLAYOLOGY to all the parents out there for great child-based learning curriculum and good quality care!”

11052 New River Cir, Rancho Cordova“Our daughter has been going to The Learning Years for almost a year now. Ms. Helga, Ms. Katya and Ms. Cristina have been really great. Our daughter has learned a lot and matured. We wanted an academically challenging preschool and The Learning Years has been perfect. It’s a warm environment where they teach them manners and get them ready for kindergarten. Thanks to them, our daughter was ready when she went to test into the magnet school, Riverview STEM Academy.”

4444 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks“After my 3 year old son was excused from an in home daycare, we landed at DLC with hope and a prayer that he would be successful in this new environment. These last few months have been an incredible experience for our son at Discovery learning center. The teachers here are so experienced and have helped him work through plenty of challenging behaviors. Our son has HIGH energy and comes home thoroughly exhausted from playing all day. After interviewing a dozen preschools, it was the outdoor environment and student-lead learning that drew us to DLC. We are looking forward to the continued days ahead at DLC for our son to learn, grow, and be nurtured. We drive 30 minutes each way to attend, and it’s absolutely worth it.”
“My husband and I were looking for a good early development school for our daughter. We found this school through a recommendation from a friend and I must say I am very content. There is no school that I have encountered that values the friendships, teachers and goals for children. Everyday I pick up my daughter from school after nap, she always tells me her unique activity of the day. The teachers are amazing here. My daughter started in the dolphins class age 2 and now she is in whales at age 4. I am pleased to see that this location is secure with badge access and the directors and Owners are approachable and very well connected with the parents from start of day to end of day. I also appreciate the beautiful events that keep the parents engaged in their child’s milestones and holidays. Thank you Goddard for giving our daughter continuous opportunities of growth in this prestigious academy.”
“My son started at Cadence December 2021 and he had just turned 3 years old. It was a big step for us to put him in daycare/preschool and I was nervous, but I felt comfortable after talking and meeting the staff. Ms. Kelly made the transition much easier. She and my son have a special bond and I know it's because she was the one who would take him inside and to his class. His teachers have been amazing and so loving. My son has learned and grown so much since he started and he has made so many friends. Tomorrow is my son's last day because he will be moving onto Kindergarten and we are very sad to say goodbye. We have had an amazing experience with Cadence Academy and will definitely keep in touch with the staff.”
“As a guide and parent I am always amazed by the support and dedication our school overs. It completely aligns with my expectations and more. Guide truly care for the child’s education and follow their independence and individual needs. I love what I do and I love what I receive for my children. Let’s go toddlers! Guidepost has truly created a genuine Montessori atmosphere.”
“We love La Petite! Our son has been going there this past year for school-age aftercare and we couldn't be happier. Teachers are sweet, school-age teachers Ms. Emma and Ms. Amber are awesome, curriculum is great, director Ms. Courtney and assistant director Ms. Hailey are proactive, approachable and flexible. The environment is very positive and students have plenty of time to do unstructured and structured activities. Our son loves going to LPA, it is the highlight of his day.”

5013 El Camino Ave, Carmichael“I still remember the first day I took my little Miranda to Apple a Day Care because I knew it was time for her to socialize. It was a very emotional day for me; I didn't want to leave her, but instantly I knew she would be in good hands. The energy and love from all the teachers, and the director Michell, gave me absolute confidence. I would even come back mid-morning just to hug my little one, and it felt like home. This year with my little Miranda in the care of the entire Apple a Day Care staff will remain in my heart forever. Thank you so much.”
“My son attended this kindercare for nearly 2 years. I always knew he was receiving quality care and the staff are genuine and kind. My son really loved his teachers and going to school was fun for him. We moved and tried a different kindercare in Washington thinking it would be similar. It was not! The people make all the difference. We sure do miss San Juan kindercare!”

1622 Sierra Gardens Dr, Roseville“We toured 13 different facilities before choosing Child time Sierra Gardens. We are so happy we did, all of the staff are amazing and are kid is super happy. They Do a great job communicating and make sure our kid has the best days playing/learning.”

8544 Auburn Folsom Rd, Granite Bay“My daughters have been coming here since they were 17 months and 4 months. My oldest is about to graduate the PreK program and my youngest is about to enter the preschool program. To say I'm attached to this place is an understatement.
Infant room - Ms Theresa is the teacher I know well in there and she is so wonderful with the babies . I love the footprint and hand print art she does with them and she has such a warm and loving spirit. They may be infants, but they're being read to, sung to, and loved on all day by one of the best! I've heard wonderful things about Ms Bethany as well, although she joined after we were out of that class.
Toddlers - Ms Karisa, Carmen and Ms Katelyn- the trio that helped my daughter go from bear crawls to walking! It's a wild age to be in charge of and they do a wonderful job!
Twos - Ms Johanna, Ms America and Ms Kennedi - I could go on and on, but these are the warmest, kindest teachers. Ms Johanna potty trained both of my daughters! And it's through Ms Kennedi's wonderful play/game-based teaching, my daughter could recognize most of her letters at 2.5. I ADORE the care and thought Kennedi puts into her lessons. And Ms America is often who we do drop off with... all I have to say to my daughter is, Ms America is waiting for her good morning hug! And she releases me and goes to her
Preschool- Ms Kaitlin is new to the school! We haven't had her yet. But EVERY time I walk by her class, I see her in there with a huge smile! I would be so happy for my daughter to be in there.
Preschool 2 - Ms April always calls out to my daughters when she sees them. She makes them feel seen and cared for. I would be thrilled for my younger daughter to be in her class too. Ms April gives a great foundation for PreK in her class. I feel like the kids really rise to be their best self with her encouragement!
PreK- Ms Linda and Ms Annabelle are my older daughter's PreK teachers and they have established great connections with their students. They have clever art projects and give their students plenty of opportunities to feel ownership over their days by leading circle time, stretches and days of the week. Ms Linda is also big on daily affirmations with the class!
When my daughter goes to TK next year at our local school, we'll likely have her do some drop in days at Childtime on short days or public school holidays.
Ms Laura is the school age teacher and has already developed a report with the PreK class. My daughter has told me many times how nice she is and that she comes in to read to them from time to time.
And Ms Nancy, the school chef, is absolute sunshine. She knows how to make all the kids smile and has more than once had my daughters be a "helper" to redirect a difficult drop off.
Ms Nita and Ms Michelle deserve huge props as well. Whenever we walk in or out of the school, they are there calling out Hellos and Take Cares! They've listened to me when I have a concern or question and they've reached out proactively to make sure all is well too. I appreciate them SO much.
This place feels like a family and some of my closest friends today are friendships that started in the hallways, fist pumping the air as we leave our safe, happy children to play while we finally get a "break" (aka go to work) ... Okay, truth be told there are still tears at drop off. But with that handy live stream Childtime provides, we can see as soon as we get in our cars that the tears were all for show
I love this school and I can't believe I have a child graduating out soon. It will always hold a very special place in my heart!
(There are so many other wonderful TAs that float between classrooms! Ms Sue, Ms Tabitha and Ms Sheana are all so friendly, helpful and have given my girls so much love )”
6:30AM - 6:30PM
5370 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay“We have been attending LSP since August of 2022. The school is Amazing!! We started with Miss Coco and Miss Marlena. Miss Marlena, potty trained our daughter. She was patient no pressure. She taught our daughter to spell her name at 3years old and other basic skills most kids don't learn till TK. We graduated to Arrendala where Miss Emme, Miss Jessica and Miss Emily made school just as fun. We learned dance moves to many new songs, made a cool video, and every day there was a new activity and theme. Going to school each day was an adventure. Miss Emme puts on the Christmas special and it Rocks. We are currently in Neverland where Miss Alyssa, Miss Lindsey and Miss Kaylee have taught us about music, plants, the solar system and more. We can spell our name, we know what a healthy meal is. Each day we are greeted by Miss Tracey's smiling face, her hugs are the best. Miss Marci's hugs are great too. We had some special health needs and Miss Marci and Miss Bethany helped support us with blinking an eye. If you want your little to thrive, be supported, learn and be prepared for kindergarten this is the place. (Oh and Mr. Cameron's meals are quite delicious, our pick little eats sliders, ramen, lasagne and other foods she was not willing to try before.). We will miss you all when we go to Kingengarten.”

5739 El Camino Ave, Carmichael“Making the decision to start our little in daycare wasn't easy, but we knew (or at least hoped) it would be beneficial to her development, social skills, and independence. Choosing the right daycare seemed scary, and we definitely toured a couple we were not fond of. After our tour at Cadence we were impressed, and pleased. Fast forward to now, and we are so grateful we made the decision to enroll our daughter here. She started at around 12 months and is now almost 20 months, and in the older toddler room. It was an adjustment for us all, but now she is just flourishing. The staff are on top of it, and easy to talk to and most importantly make our daughter feel comfortable.”
6:30AM - 5:30PM
7916 Aztec Way, Antelope“I have had 3 of my children go to something extra. They are amazing! I can go to work with the peace of mind they are not only safe but are being loved and nurtured. They learn so much and at the end of the year they give you a binder full of pictures and their art they did throughout the year. I like they do parent conferences to let you know about their development. This is amazing school my 3 year old is there now and has been there since he was 12 weeks old his speech, knowledge of is Alphabet, his number skills always impress my friends and family I wish I can take credit but it’s all from the preschool. I love the school and the teachers so much they will always hold a special place in my heart it will be sad the day comes my son will graduate.”
“My child is in her last week at CHM. She has completed Kindergarten and first grade at CHM. In our two years we never come across issues with the staff, other children, education quality, etc. It is a small school with small group classes so the children get plenty of individual attention. The Montessori teaching philosophy is amazing. The children learn through play and truly enjoy school. We will miss CHM and highly recommend to other parents. It's worth it for your babies education and care while you can't be there.”
7:30AM - 8PM
1111 Riley St, Folsom“Great place! So convenient and it’s safe! My children get so excited when I tell them they are going to KidsPark. As a single mom this is a lifesaver whenever I need last minute care outside of school hours.”
“Infant room staff is AMAZING. Period. Full stop.
Take it from two working parents - they spend more wake time with our daughter M-F... Literally could not ask for more.
With how expensive daycare can be in general, I never thought I would feel like we were getting FAR MORE than our money's worth.
We're not wealthy - but it's the one bill we're always happy to pay.
God bless folks who can be full-time parents - but these ladies are absolute pros... Can't imagine doing it without them...”
“I am so grateful and happy with Stepping Stones. We transferred from a large center where there was a lot of turnover and high class sizes, to Stepping Stones which has low teacher turn over, dedicated teachers, and small class sizes, and my son has thrived. The individual attention to the needs of the student, emotionally, developmentally and education-wise are amazing. There is a calm at the school that starts with the owner, impacts the teachers, and trickles down to the students. It’s a magical place. Ms. Marcia is a wonderful teacher, who really sees my son. Thank you Stepping Stones!”
“My son attended daycare at the Learning Patch for two years. During that time, his primary teacher was Ms. Elise, who is an exceptionally kind and caring teacher. The administrator Diana was very flexible and understanding as well. My son looked forward to going to school and never complained.”
7:30AM - 5:30PM
7070 Woodmore Oaks Dr, Citrus Heights“I felt inclined to leave a review, because my son has had an amazing experience here. I was shocked to see anything negative honestly. My son has learned better manners, compassion, better vocab, and all around better education. I can tell the school cares about my son, and gives him love when he's struggling. That's all I can ask for as a mom. I can tell the teachers and director care about planning fun activities. They make sure each child is on the right path to reach milestones such as potty training, completing sentences, fine motor skills etc. I love how the school updates me on incidents and day to day activities. No complaints here, just thought this could help a parent who is deciding where to send their child to. I'm not religious at all, and very much enjoy the school, teachers, and parents.”
“We recently moved to Carmichael and needed to find a preschool for my 3 yr. old. We were specifically looking for a Montessori school and stumbled upon MCS googling schools. After touring, we decided to give it a try, and ever since, we have been extremely happy with the school. My child is self-motivated and loves working with Montessori materialse. Love the place and the people!”
9AM - 4:30PM
10729 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks“I can’t believe I’m just finally reviewing Creative Spirit. I toured 12+ schools before selecting this one almost two years ago. I felt like Goldilocks, the other schools were either too big or too small, nothing fit just right until I found CSLC. They have an amazing program that fosters a love for learning. They have great staff and staff retention. They are very intentional about everything that they do. It’s a really special place.”
“My 2 year old son has attended Knowledge Beginnings since he was 6 months old. During the last 18 months I have met and developed relationships with everyone who works at the center. These folks are here for all the right reasons! They love the kids, they are sensitive, kind and always willing to help. I have recommended them several times and will continue to do so in the future. When I drop my son off in the morning I am always confident that he is safe, learning a ton, having fun with friends and growing into a well rounded person. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Knowledge Beginnings for helping me raise a great kid!”
“The teachers here are phenomenal, and they provide a very structured and effective plan to take care of my son in the safest and the highest standard of care. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate these teachers. My son was having a hard time finding the right fit for childcare. He was turned away by private live in daycare, which totally devastated my wife and I. We were welcomed into Merryhill with open arms, and the staff has been nothing short of phenomenal. My son loves going here and he loves his teachers. He plays with the other children and looks forward to the teachings that they provide every day. He has excelled by every measure. He is speaking in full sentences he is socializing. And most of all, he is curious. These teachers create a learning environment that supports his style learning. Even in a class of 12+ children (with several overseeing teachers), he is getting the individualized care that one would hope for their child.I would like to thank this facility and every teacher that works here. They do a phenomenal job, and I cannot give them enough praise.”
“Our son attended the infant program at Smallville. We are first time parents, and we felt totally at ease leaving our child there. The Director as well as all of the infant teachers are lovely. You can tell that they care greatly for all of the children and that the kiddos well care for during the day. When we drop him off, he is so excited to go with the teachers and start his day at school. We have loved all the projects that they do with him. He has come home with art work and they have shared photos of him playing in their wonderful play area. He has learned and grown so much and we attribute this to the hard work of Smallville! Overall, we highly recommend this program. It has been a wonderful experience and we could not be more grateful for the staff and all that they have done for our little one!”
“My 2 daughters go to kiddie academy and it is absolutely amazing. My girls have grown so much in the little time here and they love all of there teachers, the director Ms. Blanca is the sweetest and most caring person. All of the staff truly care about the children and show my kids love everyday they are there. I never want to take my kids out of here, they love going to “school” everyday to see there friends and teachers. They have great educational activities and you get a daily report of how there day went, what they have ate during there day and how long they have slept. Plus cute pictures. It’s been such a great experience I would recommend everyone to put there children in kiddie academy!!!”
“RMA has been a great school for my little one! The director, Mrs. Janet and the teachers are amazing with the kids and very caring. The curriculum is age appropriate and my daughter absolutely loves the school and teachers/assistants. 10/10 recommend!”
“Faith Lutheran Preschool has been an absolute blessing for our family, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll both of our boys there. The teachers and staff show a high level of care and consideration. They understand children and grasp the nuances of child development, which is reflected in every interaction. One standout feature of FLP is its exceptional director, Lisa. Under her leadership, the school has created an environment where each child's needs are acknowledged and embraced. Lisa's dedication to creating a nurturing and enriching environment sets the tone for the entire staff, resulting in a warm, welcoming atmosphere fostering growth and learning.Communication is another area where FLP truly shines. As parents, we appreciate being informed about our children's day-to-day experiences, and the school goes above and beyond. Through innovative apps, we receive regular updates, including individual pictures of our kids and even details about their bathroom use. This level of transparency and involvement is invaluable and gives us peace of mind, knowing that our children are in good hands. In contrast to our previous preschool experience, the difference in quality of care and attention to detail is stark, and we grateful to have found FLP.In summary, we cannot recommend FLP enough. From the caring and compassionate staff to the outstanding communication with parents, every thing exceeds expectations.”
