Great, quality fabrics for quilting & knowledgeable workers if you desire someone else's input about color selection (which is helpful that they know the various areas where they would have different fabrics that might match your project)

This place had my sewing machine for 2 months, and communication was terrible. They open at 10 am n close at 4 pm open Wed- Sunday. Getting my machine back was a mission. This place was an option from my Asurion Insurance, and it sucked. When I did speak to someone, they told me they had to speak to Shelly (owner) and would have her call me back. Not once did I receive a call from anyone. I had to keep calling. Shelly finally answered the phone one day, and she was nonchalant about the entire situation. To top it off, she didn't know anything about my machine. She said she needed to speak to her tech guy who wasn't there but would be in later. She didn't know if anything had been done to the machine. It was then I decided to pick up my machine fixed or not. She said she would email me the details of what was done to it. Whatever that ment. I called the insurance, and they are taking a look at the machine to see if the problem was resolved. I didn't want to touch the machine until it's cleared by the insurance. Why? Because the insurance can be voided. When I showed up to pick up the machine, I had to wait 20 min. Just to get someone to help me until I spoke up. Once they got my machine from the back, no one knew anything, including how to remove the charge $ it had. WTH! It would have been priceless if they wanted out of pocket money for holding my machine for 2 months. My daughter takes sewing classes, and for 2 months, I had to rent a machine from the instructor because class was already paid for. When the instructor asked where I had taken the machine for repair, I said, "Sew n Sew in Glendora." Her eyes opened wide. She told me a story that was disgusting. She had a "pretty woman" moment in there. She wanted to purchase a $ 1600 machine and called everywhere for one. Guess who had one? Yup, this place did. When she showed up to purchase it, she was told they had to check to see if they had any because it was a really expensive machine. They asked her if she knew anything about the machine. She then told them that she was the one who called asking about it, and they said they had one, so why the change of story ?
Mrs. Johnson (74 yrs young) was so disappointed that she drove two cities over for this machine and was treated so poorly and discriminated against. She left without buying it. She said she doesn't recommend this particular store to any of her students. She eventually found the machine elsewhere and bought it.
Sad. But that got me thinking. Was I also being discriminated against? Who knows. I did call before dropping off the machine, and I have to say the treatment over the phone was different from when I arrived. I dealt with the same person I spoke to. I understand people are set in their own ways, but if you have a business, get with the program. All the ladies here are definitely baby boomers and definitely set.
** My sewing machine is on an adventure to New York to get checked. Asurion Insurance stepped in and is dealing with the hiccup. The machine is a computerized Brother sewing machine. I hope the machine makes it home safely and working well. For sure, the longest review I have ever written.

I took my Juki MO 654DE in for a cleaning. This is how it was returned to me. Door hinge, broken, screw missing, and evidence of attempt to glue it back together. Sew n Sew is nearly impossible to get a hold of by phone. When confronted about issue was met with hostility and responsibility denied. I would never attempt to glue my machine. I always replace parts.

Juki serger in for service. After I got it home I found that the housing side door had been broken and glued. Hinge bent and screw missing. Terrible customer service. Sad because they have a wonderful fabric collection and I won't return.

I have wanted to go here for a while! I have a brother sewing machine and they service them. It is a charming store with an amazing selection of brother parts as well as fabrics! Prices are normally between $8-10 a yard but the quality of the fabric is pretty good. They often have sales which I took advantage of. I went to the sale room and got some great buys on some country style fabrics. It was $4.00 a yard. If you are looking for batiks wow! Also they had a good selection of juvenile fabrics for projects for those special young ones that you love. The service was pretty good. The owner was especially helpful. She was able to fix the problem with my machine pretty quickly. The other small tweak can be done on an appointment based visit while I am in the store. It will also be a pretty inexpensive fix. The downsides I faced were parking and a line at the cutting table. It was sad that they only had one person at the table. I did want to say that I will most likely return especially for their classes!

I love this shop, looks small in pictures. But the shop goes on forever. Room after room. Fabric is sorted by color, designer, food, sports. Lots of Riley Blake, Kaffe, Kimberbell. Tons of notions and rulers. Long arm quilting services, lessons and rental long arm. A few sewing machine for sale. One could spend and entire day just looking around. All the employees are super nice and helpful.

The most fabric I have seen in one place in YEARS! They have everything all in one shop. Any fabric, thread, notions, tools, patterns and designs. They have all the brand names like kimberbell, kona, kaufmannn, aurafil, etc. Just an absolutely awesome selection! I Found the sale section and stocked up on licensed fabric at $3/yard.The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding what I wanted and helping me check out. They also have an online store and offer shipping. As a bonus, they also have a longarm that you can rent to do your own quilting.Safe to say that it was worth the stop! I highly recommend this store. I will be back.
