One of the best-run and respectable auto repair shops in the valley, probably eastern LA county. They are decent and honest, don't tell too many people! I like that they are close-by, yet I'd be willing to drive miles to get my wheels serviced with Martin and the staff.

I had recently picked up a used GX470 and took it into Michaels to see what repairs may be needed. The work was done quickly and looks to be done very well, my complaint stems from the amount of upcharge was placed on the parts used for purchase. I understand there may be a percentage or fee added onto the cost of the part, but BEWARE! Upon arrival for pickup, I reviewed my invoice and noticed price parts were looking significantly bloated. For reference, I attached some photos of my receipt and the cost of the exact part (manufacturer and part number used). I understand this is a business and everyone is in it to make a profit, but this seemed exorbitant. When I asked at pickup, they insisted that the price on parts was correct even when shown prices for half of the cost. Again, I have no complaints on the work or turn around time but CAUTION WITH UPCHARGE. Maybe think about taking in your own parts for repair. This was the cost for parts alone no labor Timing belt & Water Pump Kit: $799 (found the same product online for $294, Napa Auto Parts, and $185 RockAuto)Radiator: $450 (most expensive one on RockAuto is $202)Serpentine Belt: $95 (Longo Lexus $54)Air Filter: $40 (Longo Lexus $23)

The Toyota dealership basically tried to scam me by saying that they couldn't find a cause for my AC not kicking on and that they would first try to replace the compressor for $1,000 but if that didn't fix the issue then it would be more. Mind you this was in the middle of summer. I stated I would take my car to an independent shop and I brought it to Michael's. They performed a full leak down test with UV dye and once they knew it wasn't leaking they filled it up with freon and just like that my AC was blowing ice cold again and for a very reasonable price. I'm very very satisfied with their service and they have gained my trust.Service: Air conditioning

Have been going to Michaels for many years as well as many of my family members. Martin continues to provide the same excellent service as when Michael owned it. Martin is honest and trustworthy, he provides fair and reasonable prices for car repairs.

Watch out for this mechanic as it is No Longer owned by Michael. Martine is the New Owner & all of the Repairs were done with USED Parts & I found out after I decided to see what was going on & found the parts used had Highlighter Marker with a Date on them which Signafies a Used PartServices: Electrical repair

Michael's Auto Repair did a wonderful job fixing my Acura TL. Motor mounts fixed and check engine due to a sensor fixed. Runs so smooth felt brand new! I couldn't be more pleased with there service amazing employees, pricing, professionalism, and so friendliness throughout the process. They also washed my car on the outside and kept it cleaned when I picked it up which is awesome. I'm definitely coming back to maintain my car and this is my new spot I highly recommend Michael's Auto Repair!

Highly recommended! I came here for an oil change and ask for another service for my car's coolant. They took care of every detail of my car and made sure it was safe enough for me to drive without adding extra money. As a woman, I have no ideas about auto parts, but I just need to bring my car here they will do the rest. The good thing is that the mechanic always lets me know the price of services first (reasonably) without forcing me to fix any irrelevant issues. Thank you for every you guys did, and I will be back to support this local business.
