BEST VW MECHANIC NO LIE! This guy always helps me out with cheap and truly quality repairs. Have taken my bug to him many times in the last month, and he always fixes other things to make it feel and run right, with little to no additional cost. Went in recently to replace my starter, and he noticed the shifting was off. He went ahead and fixed the shift cable and returned it back beautifully. Unrelated, had the transmission become gear soup, and now he's getting me a built transmission to handle more load and put better power down. Truly amazing guy, and a stellar mechanic.

Big shout out to Tim! He was very helpful with me getting a VW Thing started. I recommend him to anyone who has a older VW looking for a service shop to go to.

Last October 31, 2022 brought my car for Engine Light showing in the dashboard and needed a repair for the Manifold Pressure Sensor. Tim worked on the problem and charged me $100 dollars for the repair and $390 for the labor (that includes other services). Then on November 22, 2022 same problem occurred and charged me another $100 (should be under warranty). I was so upset because there's no explanation or whatsoever what's causing the problems and just asked me every time to just leave the car in the shop and come back another day. True enough after several days ENGINE LIGHT showed again and this time I didn't bother to go back to that shop and went to another shop. Last April 22, 2023 I decided to take my car to another shop and they explained to me the problems and what's causing it before they fix the problem. I agreed to the repair and up to this time I don't have problem with the car. I don't, won't recommend this repair shop to my family ever!

Great place! Brought in my 69 Karmann Ghia that I just couldn’t get to run right. Got a call three hours later saying it was ready to go! Gave me some suggestions for future upgrades. So far, so good!! Would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. Super down to earth and friendly!Services: Carburetor cleaning

Had a connection piece go bad in my vanagon and the friendly mechanic stopped what he was doing to help solder it back to working instead of me look for another at junk yard or buy one. I said please take some money for the time. Easy as pie but this is the type of mechanics we need in the community , and it shows by the constant changing of tons of nice vws I see at the shop just passing by. Im not even hesitant and more excited to send my vw van here to iron out the kinks and quirks when mine is more ready for the road.

Tim is awesome, he has over 35 years of knowledge working on VW vehicles and other vehicles as well. I wasn't jerked around by him and he didn't try to take advantage of the situation on fixing my 55 oval he's very kind and down to earth, and is very helpful I wouldn't hesitate in bringing your VW to him for work. I've seen some very nice, clean, rare 'old schools VWs there (Square & Notch Backs, Beetles, Karman Ghias, Window & Panel Buses, Vanagons, Westfalias, etc) plus the mechanics are friendly and informative.

Took my 69 VW bug here to get fixed. Had a really great experience. Owner is really really nice, explained everything very thoroughly and got the work done very quickly. My big unfortunately needs some body work and he recommended someone who came very quickly to check it out and see what they could do. I definitely plan to come back again if I need more work on my cars. He also said he could work on our Datsun! So definitely an overall great experience

Fix my old Range Rover stalling issue. Other mechanics said it needed a smoke test blwh blah blah. He identified the missing vaccum hose in an hour anr test drove it around. Who knows how that disappeared.
